Just wanted to share some things that came to me after doing many, many charts in PR. Please, tell me what you think. I think that Vertex is what is fated in US,in our chart. For example, it may be the planet which makes us unique, you could say.It may be what WE are fated to bring to the world.
If a person's planet touches our Vertex, they could bring us that quality or WE could touch them in a hurting place. Someone brought his Jupiter to my vertex. I think I was meant to bring comfort to his Jupiter. which was super afflicted. I use that for an example. I have had some insights in to the Nodes that I want to share, too, so I could get your feedback. Thank you. Anyone who has any insight, please share it. ------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ami, I like what you say about Vertex but really doesn't resonate in my case because my Vertex is completely unaspected. I see it as a "pipe dream" almost. I haven't noticed what happens when close to someone else's personal planet though. My guess is a lot will depend on that person's aspects of his planet. It could go either way (bring him good or bad depending on their chart and our synastry); for sure it's a sensitive point to say the least. I noticed that the ASC is a major point of attraction in relationships with the other sex. It's one of the catalysts that bring two people together. It doesn't run deep though and a lot depends again on the rest of the chart but a nice conjunction of a personal planet to the ASC of the other person can cause a lot of attraction in those critical initial stages of the courtship. It's an interesting POV about bringing it to the world, not so sure it fits in my case, Vertex conj Uranus. Did you mean that statement synastry-wise or natally? Cos I could've missed the meaning completely IP: Logged |

That WOULD fit for you, Lonake. You are a rebel. Even the fact that you study Astrology makes you different i.e. Uranus. Perhaps, Uranus REPRESENTS Astrology,in it's touching of your Vertex. You see what I mean?Mercury conjuncts mine. If I bring any planet to "life", it is Mercury. My son and I went out to lunch and we were talking about what people bring to other people. We were saying that if someone did not bring you anything at all, you would prolly walk away, as we all, are selfish, as humans. I was being my usual nutty self and my son was laughing and telling me how much fun it was to go out with me. I realized that I brought people humor and mental things i.e. mercury. Mercury is conjunct my Vertex. These are just ideas that come to me, the more charts I do. They are working theories
Please, bring up examples, ya or nay! I love to discuss these things. ------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Hmm.. I have Vertex in the 8th house square Pluto. It's actually exactly conjunct my friend's moon and it was one of those instant connection type of friendships.IP: Logged |

YES, what got me on the whole Vertex thing was a person I came in to contact with. I did his chart. We had a very unusual relationship, very unique. I thought that it would have to show up in the synastry.
My Neptune was conjunct his vertex and I brought him God.

This is VERY interesting. As an astro newbie I'm taking it all in like a thousand piece puzzle on the table...real excited and ready to piece it all together. And boy do I love puzzles no matter how intricate. I have no natal aspects to my vertex. However I draw in a lot of Virgos & Virgo personal planet persons who conjunct my vertex in 11H, which I am the house ruler of course. How can I distinguish exactly what I'm doing for them or vice versa when they already naturally reside in my House? Am I making any sense...not trying to be difficult, I promise... IP: Logged |

Ami Anne, I'm going to look further with this information though. Comparisons amongst other charts so I can ascertain properly, and not just fixate on my vertex right now.IP: Logged |

No, Darling. I KNOW you are not trying to be difficult. I can feel that
This is the thing with Astrology. It makes you work for everything. It yields up it's riches to those who will persevere without stopping. So, that being said, keep studying. Come to PR and jump in and do charts, if you feel like it, with the little you know. Do peoples Sun signs for them, if that is all you can do. To answer the question about the Vertex. YES, look at who touches your Vertex. I think it will show who is a fated relationship, for you.
