Topic: Marriage - is it possible to predict from a natal chart?

So we see lots of 'Find out when/who you'll marry!' links all over the internet and at the risk of sounding like Carrie from SATC, it made me wonder, can we really predict when or if we'll marry from the astrological 'blue print' we begin with?Not looking at my specific situation (because at present it's distinctly less than promising in the nuptuals department!) but just curious really... any thoughts/opinions people? In theory, everything can be predicted from the chart. In practice, the astrologer has to be an experienced one - it's like in medicine; just because a doctor could not make a right diagnosis, it doesn't mean that there isn't any.I found vedic astrology to be eerily accurate. It's very deterministic, but I was reading a computer generated chart and my jaw literally dropped on the floor. It said (among other things) "she will marry at 23". Considering I was 26 or 27 at the time and had already married at 23, divorced at 24...

I know, Maira, but it's kinda true. Almost 30 and unmarried, had lots of bad luck in this department and you don't want to hear the story of my latest heartbreak. It might just as well happen, I kind of lost hope of finding love and happiness again. IP: Logged |

The damn report said that my husband would love me and cherish me but there would be problems from my in laws. Obviously, that was not the case, he cheated and whatnot until I decided I was better off.I'm a firm believer in the fact that good things happen to good people. Don't give up faith, no matter what. Also, life has taught me that everything happens for a reason. Cliches, I know, but looking back I can always see why even heartbreak was "meant to be". I am a better person because of it and I can understand how it feels like for other people. Evolutionary sermon over IP: Logged |

Well!!! I think with much of that appraisal I'll just cash in me chips and jump off a tall building! Yeah whilst some things ring true others are quite specific and rather outrageous inaccurate! For instance I have one son and no daughters and at 38 and not being in a relationship right now, it looks highly unlikely that any daughters will come along! ;D The delayed marriage thing looks like it's right though.
