i would like to understand how to interpret synastry and orbs and such better. if someone has a natal planet in say 0 Aries 10'15" that would mean they are really characteristic of that sign placement, right? so, when doing a synastry chart (i currently use 3 degree orbs) would it be fair to extend the orbs for the couple if one person has one or several planets that fall into the 0 ZODIAC SIGN degree? the way i see it, the person with the 0 degree would feel everything aspected to that particular sign/planet very strongly, so using just 3 degree orbs might not be enough? hopefully this makes sense enough for someone to help me figure out. thanks.

That's an interesting question, but I think the 0 and 29th degrees pertain to a planet's expressing the characteristics of the sign more distinctly; i.e., HOW rather than HOW MUCH. The energy of the planet is a fixed amount. So I wouldn't extend the orbs for that reason. Just my $0.02.
