Does the house have a direct affect on the planet in question?For example, my Sun is in Scorpio. Yes, I am emotional, passive, I desire to change myself, my environment and I like being at the depths of things. But my Sun is also in the Third house. Just from house position, disregarding aspects, can that explain why I'm such a socialite? Could it stand to reason I get a Gemini influence because of the house? --- How about my Moon? It Capricorn, but in the Fifth. Does the Fifth house placement change or whatever the Capricorn traits of my Moon? IP: Logged |

Yes what ever house planets fall under would give you an underling flavor of the natural house ruler.. So yes your Sun, has a gem flavor under the Scorpio..

No prob... So for me... My leo is in H6 which makes me virgo like...
I believe its also the reason for me being introverted..

My understanding is: Planets are parts of your personality (Thought Process, Emotions and Instincts, values, etc..), Signs are the flavor or attitude by which your planets manifest (Nurturing Thought Processs, Balancing Emotions or Instincts, Idealistic Values, etc..), and the Houses are the areas of life which our planets most readily manifest (Nurturing Thought Process when we are creative, Balancing Emotional instincts when we are among friends, Idealistic Values when we are in a relationship, etc..) In that way, I believe (aspects excluded) that your Sun in Scorpio 3rd House means you are an individual who seeks to understand your world deeply through communication. Your metamorphosis happens easiest based on the communication you experience with close friends and family. Your siblings or childhood friends play a huge part in how you identify as an individual Moon in Capricorn 5th, would leave you with an emotional and personal need for reason and method. When people are frivolous with their emotions, it cheapens their worth. This can be due to experience of cruelty or the feeling of being scrutinized as a child. Whatever the experience, you learned to observe your emotional and personal space through other people's eyes. This especially manifests when you are required to be creative. Creativity is a labor of love for you, and you may avoid it because of the amount of effort it can take to be satisfied with your creations. You may find it easier to take other people's creations and compile them into something greater. You may often take on a disciplinarian or patriarch role when dealing with children.
