Going off of vedic/sidreal as this seems a lot more fitting with me...  Something must be true because I get this a lot from people, whether it'd be friends that later got to know me and revealed this or strangers, but i always get "I thought/think you are kind of a b*tch/insensitive" This mostly happens when people reach out to hug me. First of all this is not something I do and as of late I've gone out of my way to alert strangers/people I am first meeting that, I do not like hugging people/don't see the purpose so i prefer to handshake or do no physical touching. But you know, where I live when people part ways they want to seem to give you hugs which insanely puts me off like no other LOL... I was hanging out with my friend and I met his friend and she just starts to hug me when I am about to leave, Of course it bothered me, and of course I didn't return the hug, Who the heck hugs people they don't know? (I already don't hug people I like/know its just really silly to me to be quite honest.. Or I get, "I always seem to reach out to you but you don't respond" This mostly happens a lot with technology, i get people's messages/emails its not that I dont want to respond its just that.. i get caught up in other things/don't see what there is much to reply to "I'm bored" you know? Stuff like that makes NO sense to me.. I dont think I am an insensitive person, maybe I am just very different from the people I surround myself with.
Do you guys like hugs? Don't you feel uncomfortable and alarmed when people you dont know are reaching out to hug you? Do you guys respond to people's emails/messages later on or immediately?

Well in western, you have an Aquarius Sun and Rising, right?None of the Aquarius people I know strive for hugs and touching, and maybe half of them detest it. Except for this one when she had a mad crush on me. Then she'd hug me every time we saw one another/said good bye. IP: Logged |

You actually sound like an afflicted Aquarian Sun. E.g. Making a point that you don't like being huggy when you're in a huggy culture. Rationalizing and putting emphasis on boundaries. Earth signs are sensual. They understand boundaries but can enjoy physical touch when appropriate. IP: Logged |

If not hugging is insensitive, then 2+ billion people in East Asia must be really insensitive. Asians rarely even hug their families, let alone strangers. IP: Logged |

im actually dominant earth/air. i think when i was younger i was a bit more timid in expressing myself and handling intimate situations, it could have been becuase im shy and felt awkward with people in general anyways, but it doesn't bother me now so much. i don't mind hugging people haha but sometimes if people try to hug me or whatever ill feel a little bit goofy and awkward but i wouldnt really associate that with being insensitive... my suns in libra but my risings in taurus, moons in virgo, merc is virgo/libra cusp, mars is in libra, and the generational planets saturn,uranus,neptune are all in capricorn. but i think that because i have close/a lot of aspects with neptune that it softens my earth signs, becuase im not insensitive at all, if anything im told (especially by my boyfriend) that im too emotional and sensitive. the air signs that ive met and through my experience are actually pretty moody. especially libra earth signs have a tough exterior but are softies in the inside hehe. all 3 of my father figures are one of the earth signs and theyr all kinda sensitive at times.. especially taurus.. they get moody

I get pretty uncomfortable with big emotional scenes. I'm very very sensitive. But I like to keep it inside haha. Typical virgo afterall. The aries rising makes me look tough, and my libra planets kinda doesn't like emotional scenes either. IP: Logged |
