I feel 12th house placements make you interested in psychology. It makes you want to understand your psyche and those of others better. I feel it gives you a desire for personal growth and a desire to help others as well.Neptune though makes since foggy bc it romanticizes so its good to be conscious of this as just making an effort to be more realistic in the areas that neptune touches makes a big difference I think. Perhaps neptune in the 12th will give you a mystic approach to the psyche! IP: Logged |

I don't see it as a horrible house, but I do think it has multiple meanings. For one, I've heard it's your blind spot about your 'self'. It's what others can see about you, but you don't see for yourself. It can also represent karmic issues you have to deal with in this lifetime.IP: Logged |

No no no. House 12 are not a horrible house. My opinion are that many astro people se the dark side more than possibilities. That only stop the process of the life. This karmic house bring you karmic events and strong intuition.IP: Logged |

Hi Jim The 12th house takes that planet and turns it inward, you could say. You are looking to the next dimension, of spirituality and mysticism in these parts of you, of which each planet represents a part of the human. To put it in to practical words, the present life may be much harder because one has one foot in the next dimension, so to speak. As such, things on the earth may be much harder, such as intimacy, letting someone see the real you, dealing with anger, being assertive, dealing with sexuality etc.
The 12th house person is not totally at home, as a citizen of the earth dimension. This is the root of the "problems" which come with 12th house planets, imo. ------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Platero, I feel the same as you but I have Mars and Jupiter both in Gemini in my 12th, ruled by Taurus. So what gives? I suppose there's a difference a little bit. I know people don't forget about me when we're not together, however I do find myself doing a LOT of the initiating and planning in friendships, and probably relationships. If I didn't, nothing would ever happen. I also think my 12th house Mars is the reason I get so angry when people are rude. I spend a lot of time trying to curb my anger and my temper 'cause it's not appropriate to express at that amount, yet other people (strangers) have no problem treating me rudely. IP: Logged |

Hannaramaa, I also have Mars & Jupiter in 12th, but in Pisces...I get angry pretty easily, small things trigger some bigger things that were there, kinda hidden, waiting, so I make an unexpected connection between a small, seemingly unimportant thing that p***ed me off, and the bigger issue, and then I just explode! Not good, but I suppose it's not just 12H Mars, it's also Uranus squaring it... As for Jupiter, it may be a dominant planet in my chart, aspecting almost everything there, but I don't feel particularily lucky as a person...hmmmm... I'm not really that sociable or a "popular type" of cute & flirty person who "loves" everyone...Some people might think I'm cold and arrogant, but my behavior & attitude towards people is quite normal - I just don't smile in your face & I don't feel the need to be superficially kind towards random people, as a matter of fact, I find that behaviour scary & psycho-like...IP: Logged |

I understand what you mean. I'm constantly getting told "Hanna, don't ask that!" "I don't think you realize it, but you make these faces and you come off RUDE." and people often mistake my normal face for being mad or unapproachable. I don't mind being nice to people, they did nothing to me to warrant otherwise afterall, but I'm definitely more serious and earthy than the peppy social butterfly my chart portrays me to be. There's some social norms that I question and don't follow because they seem ridiculous. Small talk? Why? I hate small talk. What's more is everyone hates small talk, and yet they complain when someone overshares! There's no pleasing everybody. Mars in Gemini (11H) quincunx Pluto in Scorpio (5H), it's also conjunct my Gem ASC, and sextile with my Sun, Merc, and Venus all in Aries. I think that quincunx plays a major part in my personality (or more than I give it credit for) but I don't understand exactly what the description means. I just know it probably has to do with power struggles 'cause it's Mars and Pluto making an aspect. IP: Logged |

Wow, I really feel like this is dead on. I have Mars (Pisces) and Venus (Aqua) in the 12th house. There's a lot going on but it's ALL hidden...even from myself I think. There's a ton of emotion there but it's all foggy and sorta futuristic - like it's not real. Hard to explain but it makes things challenging for sure... there's not a lot of raw emotion or assurance with things. ------------------ Aqua Sun Gem Moon Aries RIsing IP: Logged |

I have South node Virgo in my 12th house...I've read somewhere that it was a "double whammy" because the 12th house deals with the past/karma and so does your south node. Still researching this so I can fully understand... IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by RegardesPlatero: Part of it, I think, is the Scorpio influence. Scorpios are not, by nature, trusting. I tend to be suspicious and cautious until I know a person's true motives/this becomes clear to me. When a person sends me conflicting messages, that augments the already-existing natural suspicious and mistrust. It usually takes me while to feel connected to a person, unless I feel a special and unusual connection right away--even in that case, though, I do take my time getting to know people and am slow to reveal myself. When people act in ways that are disconnecting, I get so frustrated because all trust is completely erased and I get sick of having to start over again and again and again with certain people. The other thing with the Scorpio influence is that I hate it when I feel like I'm pouring myself out to others but am getting nothing back. It feels like betrayal to me if someone is "just being nice" but their words and actions do not match. I pour a lot of myself into relationships and put a lot into them: Scorpio is passionate and intense. Scorpio also needs people to reciprocate this intensity.
Oh I'm sorry, did you post your signs/chart somewhere? If so - I want to take a looksey. If not... well, I still want to take a looksey lol. The more you explain your behavior the more I see how Scorpio-ish I am! Which makes me happy 'cause I don't like being "Aries". IP: Logged |
