Personally I am not stingy. I don't give cheap gifts or super expensive gifts, somewhere in the middle and my gifts are thoughtful. My way of giving to the community is by picking professions that require this more than through voluntary work. I personally try to give by trying to help others heal and hope that others also try to help me with my growth.

I feel I am not cheap with gifts and getting myself things bc of my leo in mars but my sun in virgo keeps it practical enough so I don't overspend either so all my bills get paid.

I am generous with time to others by helping them heal bc of my jupiter and uranus falling in the 12th house and my pluto in the 11th that seeks to be transformed and transformed others through relationships.

I dont really donate money to charities all that often or that much either and my saturn is in libra in the 12th and jupiter in scorpio in the 12th (sidereal).

I only buy gifts, real gifts for people in order to get something in return. It's the first time in my life that i am changing, my boyfriend, I make meals for him again something I do not do normally, and I am planning on buying him something expensive. Something I don't do. I'm not sure if its selfless cause I do expect something in return.. not gonna lie.

I don’t expect anything back either. I don’t like getting gifts as much as I like giving them. Actually I do get something: I love to see that I made someone happy or that I helped someone out.

ETA: I am one of those people people with a card drawer, filled with birthday, get well, thank you cards and gift bags and wrap...I also love to wrap gifts - I even have a Bowdabra , nope, I have two, one for small ribbon and one for large (I forgot because I haven't used it since last Christmas, sadly)!

You are right! When I am generous which I admit I am in the middle I am generous but not very generous so I am like alright. My generosity is more trying to help others grow...that is what I Like. I sometimes am generous with a gift bc I want to see that smile as it brightens my heart that someone is having a good day bc I did something.

I refuse to buy anything for anyone as a gift, even a $1 birthday card LMFAO. I'll make them something.. or give them a gift I was given years ago obviously untouched with tags on LOL.... ya I never buy my friends gifts.. unless of course there is something to get out of it.

I guess I'm not generous then! lol. I give out of a sense of social obligation (very Capricorn, my Sun sign) and only to people who are really, really hungry and have been reduced to begging. And that's about the extent of my giving side. I actually had a reputation at a certain office for being stingy because I never brought in food for my coworkers....I thought that should be the bosses' job, since they had fatter paychecks and weren't paying us that much.

I got Virgo Saturn in the 12th & retrograde Leo Jupiter in the 11th in a square to my Taurus Chiron in the 8th.

I find that you Virgos are randomly generous without realizing it. It just comes out of nowhere and is like a blind spot. It probably has to do with having Pisces as your opposite sign. I have my North Node in Virgo so I'm supposed to try to strive to be like that in this lifetime.

That is soooo cute that you got the most generous award in kindergarten LOL .

Uranus been unpredictable and detached on the 2nd will make you detached about possessions and perhaps unpredictable in 2nd house matters so you give things away freely bc of the detached nature of uranus and when people don't expect it bc of the unpredictable nature of uranus, hence the award.
