I have a pluto opposite my moon in taurus. My friends have described me of being mean and kind of an ass. Its been bothering me. I get this a lot.. I think I am a pretty straight forward person. I can be critical and harsh but I'm never mean to anyone or make fun of anyone. I don't know if this is how I come across?

Also I have a pluto in-conjunct mars in aries which conjuncts my midheaven. Any thoughts? I know that I am a really ambitious person. I think thats because of that conjunction

Also Would a pluto trine ASC give me a similar appearance to pluto conjunct ascendant? I'm in art school so I end up doing a lot of self portraits and photographs and my teachers always describe me or my self portraits as sensual and mysterious. This is my only aspect to my ascendant which is cancer. I never felt like I fit the typical cancer rising.

Lmfaoooooo. Well they're being honest at least.

My mawm can be reeeeaaaally mean spirited sometimes. Like at her worst, doing something just to terrorize whoever angered her.

She has her Mars opposing Moon AND Sun (and Jupiter).
Uh, a twelfth-house Pluto square Saturn which trines Mars.

Those are the only things I'd imagine leading to her being...bleh.

LOL RedScorp!! If you're tired don't worry about it. You can always reply later. Anyway - Libra Mercury is normally diplomatic but I guess the square to Uranus could make her feistier than usual. I have this square as well btw
I wouldn't say I'm mean, but I'm good with come backs if someone starts with me.

My friend whose chart I posted in the sociopath thread. (Under my previous incarnation, northernlad, rest its soul.) She is mean for sport. Almost all of her planets are in 8th house Aquarius or 5th house Sagittarius. She's got Sun/Mercury/Venus all conjunct which squares her Pluto. THEN she's got Moon conjunct Mars and Saturn which squares her Jupiter. The Cancer ASC is just the cherry on the top, I believe.

Well I meant that's what her Mercury was doing, but come ta think of it, I'm actually pretty tired myself.

Her Mars is also retrograde and in the Seventh house. Aggression towards those who are supposed to be close? Misdirected even?

I wasn't insinuating that you're a sociopath. I was just bringing that thread up because I wrote a pretty detailed description of her behavior.

In my personal experience, I've found that sun conj mercury people can be difficult for some people to take. For me, it depends on which sign it's in for whether or not I can deal with it. When you meld the ego with the mind you usually end up with strong results.

So you’ve got a bunch of Gemini planets with Mercury ruling the roost (being the dignified one) and Jupiter in Virgo (disposited by Mercury) and squaring Mercury!

If Yoda was an astrologer… he’d totally be like..
“The Mercurial force is strong in this one!” LOL

Basically…..

On the bright side – There is a crowd of people out there in the world who would pay to listen to you make them laugh. Have you ever tried stand-up?

On the down side - the more sensitive types can really take you the wrong way at times.. or they might simply take things more seriously than they were meant.

Good because I'm not.. OR AM I? . I thought thats such a common aspect nvm. I did not think it really has much of a impact. My dad has this aspect in leo which also conjuncts his mars, pluto, and venus. Now hes a hot head.

Well, you'll be innocent until proven guilty in my book as far as being a sociopath.

It is a common aspect, but that doesn't mean it doesn't affect people. Just means there's more people out there with that kind of energy.

Oh! Now I get it RedScorp lol I'm slow today!
Mars in the 7th can be combative. I have this also but mine is conj Neptune so it's mellowed!! lol
But my ex has Mars in Aries in the 7th and he went a bit overboard sometimes, although I wouldn't call him mean.

Nahh he's really nice. JUST DON'T ever cross him, or disagree with him. He's actually a very charming man. Almost everyone loves him. He also has a moon and asc in libra which conjuncts. He must of been one of the popular kids in high school :/

My aries mars is in the 9th house. My girl friends mars is also in aries but hers trines her venus and squares her moon. She's pretty feisty and has a temper.

I have Moon Taurus opp. Pluto too and have been described that way. And like you, I'm just blunt but I never try to hurt anyone's feelings. I think Moon opp. Pluto probably gives a rather "leathery" texture to their emotional being whereas most other people are very silky and soft. I think we struggle between behaving like our Moon in Taurus should behave, wants us to behave - and how Pluto is saying "Screw being polite, only trust your instincts." So it's a constant tug-a-war.

Yes I agree with you completely. Also I read somewhere with that aspect its hard for you to share your feelings with others. I have noticed that with me, usually I try to hide all my feeling because in actuality I really do want to share my feelings but its just so intense. When I do share my emotions with the other person their completely overwhelmed and regret ever asking me how I'm feeling today. bahahaha. I don't know if this is the same with you?
