Its a little tricky, for me because I do not know if I even believe in past lives. What does that even mean? Past lives? Does that mean younger years? Or is that some supernatural power where I was someone else in another lifetime? I can only accept the only lifetime one has been given is now.Anyone explain the significance of north/south nodes in astrology? It plays vital role but can someone maybe express it in a way more realistic? "past lifetime"? That just sounds unrealistic.. What is your south/north node? What's it doing for you? Your SN is what your comfortable with.. Its what you know (inside) subconsciously.. Your NN is what your suppose to grow into.. You will get lessons along your path to help you reach your NN... More or likey you wont really start reaching toward your NN until your older... I would say late 30 going into the 40's you will start moving more into your NN... Through out life you will swing back and fourth from you NN/SN...
NN is maybe hard for you, so you fall back into your old ways (SN) until it no longer works for you...

i think your confusing what exactly a past life is, or your using a definition of it that is not accuratea past life is simply another lifetime, and time is flowing, so it could be a lifetime from the future or 200 years ago...it could even be a past life from this time period a conjunction to your sn can indicate what you left off with from your former life....i have moon on my sn, so whatever i left off with it was certainly emotional ------------------
I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

SN is supposedly linked to the past life. NN is what you're supposed to do, become and work towards in THIS life. People tend to revert back to their SN because that's what's comfortable and safe to them, what they know. IP: Logged |

Well, the "essence" of astrology is that the energies of your chart are derived from past karma and lives, not spontaneously created... It really depends on your personal beliefs. I've never thought too much about it being a past life/lives, as it could be the summation of a few...All I've thought of it was the innate knowledge that I have... that which is easier for me to understand without learning through trial, merely if any, needed to be reminded of.
