I personally think it's a good trait. At least they're not impulsive and take responsibility for their actions.

Every one of these strings are vague generalities. The DOs and DON'Ts really don't have to be negative. Some are using them in that way, but it doesn't have to be that way. For example: "Virgo--Do be punctual. Don't dress messy." Still very general, but it's not negative. The title to the strings isn't: Name Something Negative About..."

It goes beyond a simple Sun sign, it really depends on what the rest of their chart is saying.
Astrology is a synthesis of the planets in; signs, aspects, houses, rulerships, midpoints etc....so imo it's a bit of a generalisation to say "All Capricorns' like this, or dislike that" - you might as well read the zodiac descriptions you find in the back of weekly magazines and be done with the rest of the chart.

^ obviously duh lol.

But every person of a certain sign DO possess some similar traits. This is pretty much fact.

A fluorescent light bulb is a fluorescent light bulb, regardless of which room it's lighting up or what the lampshade looks like. The Sun doesn't tell the entire story but its influence is the foundation of the natal chart and its energy shines through all else. Surely Linda Goodman believed that when she wrote "Sun Signs" and "Love Signs"?

DO: Show respect
DO: Take them seriously
DO: Give them credit by acknowledging and appreciating their efforts

Do say what you mean and mean what you say. I've found Capricorns can be very literal signs.

Don't be wishy-washy. If you haven't made up your mind, fine but just let Capricorn know when you have instead of making them ride out your neuroticism with you (I say that lightheartedly)

Do stick to the basics and basic necessities. I think Capricorns like simplicity best.

Don't be dramatic.

Do: Expect to be second to their work.
Don't: Expect to feel loved.

Sorry. If it makes you feel any better, I'm a Cap girl and a Sag guy (although his progressed Sun is in Capricorn) did that to me. But his idea of "work" was goofing off with his buddies and telling me it's work! At least you got ditched for actual honest-to-goodness work.

Jounia...i know a lot of Caps, including myself, who are huge risk takers. yes we think about it beforehand but then we take a leap. my siser, my aunt, and myself are all Capricorns and we all like to take risks...especially me and my aunt, who have the least amount of Capricorn influence out of the 3 of us but still..
