Yes it is because its a square. But in my opinion , its not that bad because both are benefics giving the same things as the trine would but the only difference is overindulging and not managing the pleasures of life well. How else would there be excess and carelessness, obviously it came from the trine. I think it uses the same ingredients as the trine but a slightly different method.IP: Logged |

I consider it an affliction because the square could result in too much optimism in love, blinding you to the reality of the situation. But you would probably feel good since they're benefics. I think that's a danger, like when you can't feel pain, you could burn your hand off on the stove.IP: Logged |

I often be to lazy in a jupiter transit to venus. and It doesnt matter what kind of jupiter Venus transit . Its the same effect..Ive also an tendens to put my weight up ...IP: Logged |

i have natal jupiter (1st) square venus (10th) and I don't have any of those qualities. If anything, I appreciate the things I work for than most people I know. I don't like to take things for granted but at the same time I am not upset when I lose something because I always get back what I lost. I am super generous to the ones that are very close to me...I don't have a problem helping anyone financially or emotionally if I know that it will be appreciated. But I am that way because I feel that it is karma....if I pay it forward with the ones that I love and appreciate then I will always have blessings. IP: Logged |

I have a close friend with this aspect, venus in taurus in the 7th square jupiter in leo in the 10th, its a 0 deg sqaure. She grew up really poor and has no money(sun square saturn). Since we were kids she has always been very artistic and wanted to be a famous "rock star". She is now 33 and never moved out of her parents house and has never had even a a part time job and even though she dropped out of school at 15 she has never even gone back for her ged.She wont even attemp it or a regular job. She wont do any of these normal things because they dont jive with her artistic dream of being a famous musician. While she does have some natural talent,that is in the "slight" range she overestimates herself and thinks she is a musical prodidgy. She is overly optimistic to the point where she lacks all common sense. She is very vain and self aggrandizing. While she is a somewhat pretty girl, she thinks she is drop dead gorgeous and she will tell you openly that "all men want her." She isnt very lucky in love either, her emotions are very shallow, I'm not sure if that is from this aspect tho or her gem sun libra moon combination.IP: Logged |

It is very likely the Sun-Moon Libra to play a part, as well as the Sun-Saturn square too. I have a sextile to my Sun from Saturn and I'm not at all like you mention it. I have some problems with my responsabilities, but I found out that I can take care of them (thou, I would put the North Node in Capricorn for this iresponsability issue). IP: Logged |
