Topic: When someone lies about you, how do you react to it?

well, a really hard hitting thing happened...i had a customer who came to pick up their custom framing order (it was using her own glass and frame) and noticed her glass was chipped (it was chipped when she dropped it off to us) and insisted we were the ones who broke it because it was not like that when she dropped it off (this chip was on the bottom corner of the frame, in a non noticeable spot)well, quite frankly, she lied and it shook me to my core and if it wouldnt have gotten me fired i would have argued that fact mercury in sag conjunct scorpio sun - truth to the core, apparently...however, i find it not so hard hitting when i lie, because that is usually to spare someones feelings (for your own good, lol)
edit: and i lie sparingly tell me what placements you think causes your reactions to lying ------------------

i wish i could say the same redscorp...but i was shaking on the inside when that woman virtually accused me of damaging her stuff------------------

If the lie is to protect their privacy... then I could care less.

It drives me absolutely nuts when people do that, both when they lie about me, or do something and then lie and deny they did it. It's probably one of the quickest, most sure-fire ways to p1ss me off...
All my Libra stuff finds it incredibly unfair; my Leo stuff thinks it's dishonorable and Leo is a sign that's kinda known for it's frankness and appreciating that in others, anyway; and all the aspects to my Pluto just get grated by it - makes you dig for the truth and want the truth from others. I'm always like, "If you just don't like me or wanna be a d****e-bag, just admit to it and be honest about it and name-call or something, but don't lie". IP: Logged |

If someone lies to my face the Plutonian comes out of me. I start to squint my eyes and I'm practically burning a whole through their head with irritation and fury. I won't say a thing though. But my face will probably look a little strained. I'll non verbally be challenging them to come clean. I begin to dissect all their movements. I don't like when people TRY to deceive me. I'm always aware of it but I don't enjoy it and I'm sure no one does.I'll usually respond by saying something in the valley of "really? Uh huh? Interesting?" I won't respond to the actual lie I'll make a mental note of that particular lie and their deceitful tendencies. I'll do further investigation as to why they felt the need to lie on a psychological level. I'm never concerned with the lie itself just why. Speaking for myself with my aspects, I'm not a liar, I'm just a with holder. I choose to hide things and I don't mean to intentionally deceive, I just won't reveal something unless someone asks. When people lie about me I find it funny because I know the truth, who cares what someone thinks? An abundance of Leo makes me find it somewhat flattering. It is like, "What, am I a celebrity or something? You have to make up stuff about me?" It is that petty to me, I'll definitely turn it into a "big me/little you" situation. I have a very expressive face so people know what I am thinking and if someone is lying to my face I instantly get a "yeah, sure" look on my face, no matter how I try to suppress it. This has caused people to say to me "Fine, don't believe me!" but, oh well, don't lie in the first place. I don't lie mostly because I am a terrible liar. Even when I was in the childhood lying stage I was always caught (my mom is very perceptive) so I guess the "why bother?" thing stuck with me. Even if I am asked to keep something secret (something that was lied about, not major secrets), I am usually the accidental bomb dropper (Mercury square Uranus). I do "omit" at times but it is usually stuff that is no one's business. Mercury in Leo in the 7th, conjunct Sun, Venus and Jupiter. It is also and trine Neptune. IP: Logged |

HATE when people lie about anything ive said!
I take the time to say specific things and when I find someone has purposely lied about something I have said, to make me look bad and them look good, hell breaks loose. In verbal fashion. Depends. If someone white lies to me, I don't really care. If someone lies to cover up their **** because they think I'll get mad, I don't really care (as long as the thing they did doesn't make me mad lol). If someone lies compulsively about dumb things all the time, I don't really care, but I don't trust a single thing they say and probably try to avoid them.Like, my best friend slept with my way long time ago ex and kept it from me for months because she thought I would get mad. I didn't give a sh*t when she finally told me, just perplexed that she'd think I'd be mad about it. My boyfriend and this guy I know constantly lie to strangers saying that they're cousins. They're not related at all. That annoys the crap out of me. It's just so stupid. It's just a way to "mark" people they meet, like they're obviously not cool enough to know that they're not related or something. I hate that. I also hate when people put words in my mouth. It depends.I was friends with a guy, and when his ex-friend and him became reacquainted she ran her mouth off to our OTHER friend's mother about how me and the guy friend make out all the time. One, I'd only met her (the ex-friend) once, and two, me and my guy friend had never so much as held hands. That didn't bother me in the slightest 'cause her reputation and credibility was shot long before I came along, but it really ****** off my guy friend (Leo with a Sag moon. Pride. *Rolls eyes*) I didn't like how my boss used to act like I was in the wrong just because the "customer is always right." This woman wanted her extra $1 something in taxes when she was returning a pair of shoes. No one had shown me how to do that on the cash register, and she'd also bought the shoes at a different store location where the tax was lower or something. In any case my boss came over punched in whatever on the register all the while saying "Yes, you really have to watch for those tax differences." so it makes ME look like I was being careless on register even though I'd simply been uninformed. If someone lies about me, in my personal life, I could care and sometimes toy with the lie (if I need entertainment). If someone lies about me, in my professional life, I state the facts and the lie is usually deemed invalid. Really people don't lie about me or at least from what I'm aware of. Most people don't have the nerve to cross me (thanks Pluto in First and Mars sq Pluto).  IP: Logged |
