Just a gentle reminder that we have other Forums here, and while I love reading these different varied Topics, please keep this Forum centered on Astrology. I have been overlooking a loophole for a while that has been used, but I have to be more strict now that the Astrology Topics are getting buried on some days. For example: "What is your fave pair of shoes? Tell us what Sign is your Venus." That really isnt an Astrology Topic. BTW, I just made that one about shoes up. Don't feel like any of you are being punished or anything. We have lots of Newflakes here, and the energy feels great.

Posting a nonrelated Topic and then adding that at the end doesn't make it about Astrology.IP: Logged |

See, the fun topics with minimal astrology can be concentrated on the other forums like Free for All. Whenever a strong astrological correlation is spotted, we can refer that correlation as a new topic in the Astrology forum. IP: Logged |

Ah. I wasn't aware the statement was contained within a non-astrological topic. IP: Logged |

There is no more "Free for All" There's Global Unity 2.0 and Lindaland Central 2.0 Just so there's no confusion for newflakes IP: Logged |

Haha thank you for the excuse Anongirl, but I suspect it may have more to do with the fact I am practically bleeding out of my ears trying to finish uni work, and am not reading anything properly! IP: Logged |

Sometimes I do get confused between Lindaland Central and Astro2.0... For example, my Disneystrology thread. I wasn't sure if it belonged in Astro2.0 because it's not serious astrology but it's also a cute DOB thing that knowflakes can download, have fun with, and share with others. I always felt that Lindaland Central was more for sharing things that are not astrologically related, like sharing funny articles, etc.It certainly would be wonderful if the forum was less cluttered with mundane topics such as "What's your favorite color! Post your sign!" They get a bit silly after awhile. IP: Logged |

Indeed and that`s the point. Learning and sharing astrological subjects.. Tacking on a "her sign x is in v" after a discussion of how your grandmother wears her hair , well, just don`t cut it. ------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

well, amy knows what i'm gonna write here... but how hard would it be to create one more group (dedicated to horary)????????edit it could also be cool if we had threads for specific topics ie. a thread stricly for synastry discussions, for stricktly transit section, for horary, astroids, etc. creates a better collection of more like minded people?? ps. good to be back :P IP: Logged |

if i cant find the appropriate forum here, i'll post what i want to say in the FB LL group------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Nicki, all of those Topics you've posted in the LL FB group would easily fit in LLC2 (some in Astrology 2.0 or other Forums). ------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. eeh, i just feel that some of them wouldnt fit here...that article, however, could fit in astro 2 with the kind of discussion thats going on now ------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

@ Randall:I don't mean to be rude or demanding or anything, but could you possibly post some guidelines that are more clear and direct, if you get the chance? I ask this because I wouldn't want to accidentally start one of those threads if that's against the rules. Plus, to be honest, it is hard to tell sometimes. Threads take on lives of their own at times and sometimes one that starts one way ends up going on tangents or becoming something completely different. Sometimes, too, a person can relate something to astrology that might not seem like it's related on the surface. Like the shoe example that you mentioned. Venus does rule personal tastes and aesthetic, doesn't it? So, to me, I could see the connection. Having very clear guidelines would, in my opinion, help a lot, especially for newer people.

hey RegardesPlatero, i understand how it may seem confusing, dont worry too much about it..the majority of issues discussed in LL are astro, or astro related atleast. but we have many fine forums that are a little bit more particular topic wise the shoe example, would be perfect for linda land central or hearth and home since im pretty sure the repliers will not be going to details on how that aspect affects your sence of style but instead will divert their attention to shoe styles if you happen to post in the wrong forum im sure mods will be kind enough to transfer you to the right place, no harm done IP: Logged |

It's okay if a string diverts in different directions. I'm just saying not to post stuff that is unrelated to Astrology in this Forum and throw something at the end to bypass the requirement.IP: Logged |

Thanks! My apologies if I've ever posted something in the wrong area; no hard feelings or offense taken on my side if you have to move something. ------------------ *I use the whole sign system* Personal Planets: Sun, Mercury: Libra Venus: Scorpio Moon: Cancer Mars: Capricorn See my profile for my complete chart.
