So...why does one look for sexual compatibility to a mans Mars but to a womans Venus?
Isn't Venus romance and not stamina?
Does this assume that women are passive and their Mars therefore negligible?

I would love for someone to explain that because I don't understand it.

A woman's mars shows what she is attracted to and a man's venus shows what he is attracted to? I have never understood why personal planet interpretation is gender specific. How do the stars know what sex you will be? I am interested to hear an explanation also since I currently am a non-believer.

It's because many astrology books were written at a time when gender was very cut and dry. Women were supposed to be one way, men were supposed to be another. This is called sexism.

I ignore gendered astrology advice.

In general, I like the explanation that Mars is what you're attracted to, Venus is what you attract. Mars is how you pursue, Venus is how you view love.
