What does Jupiter RX (transit) translate to?

Like when Mercury goes RX we all know what (sort of to expect)

So what does Jupiter do, when it goes RX?

Yeah Lioness, good question.

From what I understand, when a planet goes Rx, it's a good time to go inward. That the energies are all about figuring out the inner *you*. However, Jupiter seems to be all about gettin' your groove on and being OUT there. So, what would it be like to go inward with Jupiter? Or does Jupiter do something else when it goes Rx?

Jupiter Rx is about inner exploration and experience in my view.

It is an energy which can afford new discoveries in personal philosophies, personal goals, inward growth and general introspection. The difficulty with it is; it seems to be a time for preparation and understanding, not action. Though you may discover a personal goal, it may need to be looked at deeper while Jupiter remains Rx.

After Jupiter goes direct you can use the momentum of an outwardly growing Jupiter to fuel your adventure. My Jupiter is natally Rx and rules my Sun, so a lot of my life is spent in introspection.

I have natal Jupiter Rx also.. in Sag in H10

So since Jupiter is in rxx right now, then its a time to reflect on your inner self.. Add that with Mercury rx.
Its time to rethink your inner self and to come up with a plan of action to become your higher self??
But dont set the plan into action until both go direct.??

I have Jupiter RX in my Natal chart and am absolutely gutted. Its not nice because no one wants to experience a planet like Jupiter internally or repressed. It means that you wont be able to experience Jupiter's best and full energies since its all bottled up. I don't like retrograde planets. If we wanted to become more inward and reflect on our inner self, other aspects and placements should give us plenty opportunities for this and they do. I like to think of Rx planets as just optical illusions. I have done a quick internet search and they all indicate a retrograde motion makes a planet weaker. Jupiter is not the planet that needs this or to express its energies on an internal level. I have spent my whole life in introspection and it gets frustrating because there is less action and I've already learnt the "lessons". My Jupiter doesn't go direct until I'm around 50. Dont be fooled by what you hear about the benefits of Rx Jupiter. It not a big deal when its transiting but natally its terrible.

It's not horrible if you want to spend your life meditating lol.

I'm fairly lucky as Rx Jupiters go. Mine is exalted in Cancer and abides in the 3rd house. It also is opposed Mercury, so there is a strong desire to communicate what I experience internally. The Cancer also makes my internal environment intuitive and relative to my environment, so that is also helpful. Over all though, I have to agree. It is my Sun's ruler and the only Rx planet in my chart. I have always wondered what it would feel like to have a direct Jupiter.

I suspect Jupiter Rx is why I feel very reclusive lately. I've been growing more and more creative with my writing, but only as I've reduced my need to leave my home or socialize have I been able to get anything truly accomplished.

Personally, I wouldn't mind being a hermit....
