So I know this aspect makes someone passionate. But are they the types to like casual sex, or does it really depend on the sign it falls under? Will they be highly sexual but only like sex with meaning, or is it more like 'oh you're hot, come home with me *wink wink*

I am aware it also depends on rest of chart, but say venus and mars conjunct by less than 1 degree?

It gives off a sexy vibe for sure but no it doesn't make for a nympho. Yes, it depends on the sign that they are in. For instance, if in Virgo then neither Venus nor Mars would be very strong. The individual would come off as being direct and precise in romantic matters or diplomatic in situations where they need to be assertive....but they wouldn't have an especially high sex drive.

But with Venus conjunct Mars in Aries, which is ruled by Mars, Mars would overpower Venus. And the libido should be very high because Mars feels wayyyy too comfortable in Aries since it's the sign he rules, and this would result in him being on very bad behavior. And never charming! And yes he would love casual sex like most guys but the difference here is that he would have less control over his impulses.

Not the ones I know and I've known a bunch of them, some were slightly promiscuous when young, but thats about it. I've had relationships with three men with this and they were not the most passionate or steller lovers. It surprised me too, then I read up on it a lot and learned that in some charts venus "over rides" the natural mars passion and exhuberance. Especially with the conjunction, because a conjunction "melds" the two energies and unites them into one. These two energies are polar opposite so I guess it can be a bit like a jupiter-saturn conj or something, they dont always mesh that well. However I have known a venus Square mars that would knock your socks off. Grrrowr! Personally I think its venus or mars to pluto that creates a truely passionate lover. And I know two different women that had close mars-pluto aspects that were sex addicts, lol. The one with the conjunction actually had to go to sex addicts anonymous classes it got so bad. She was a true nympho.

Yea girl, I also had never heard of sex addicts anonymous untill my friend started dating this girl, it was totally crazy. And there is another female I know who has it(though its the square) and is pretty much the same, only she didnt seek help, she was probably having too good of a time. LMFAO.

I know an Aries Mars/Venus who is a total nympho. That combo is also opposite Pluto in Libra. She knew it too, and she used it. She knew that the promise of sex was her appeal because she was not that attractive (her feelings, not mine).

I know a Cancer Mars/Venus who is quite chaste.

The others with Mars/Venus don't really stand out to me.

my sex drive is not over the top is average or fair, not high but not low. I like doing it 3 times a week but if I am with a guy who wants to every day I would but I don't need it every day that would just be a nice plus. My mars conjuncts venus in leo by about 1 degree and sextiles pluto and trines neptune. I think mars square/opposition/conjunct Pluto can make you a bit of a nympho.

I think it's the trine to Pluto from those planets that actually cause that preoccupation with sex, not the actual venus conjunct mars, itself.

Is your Sun and/or Mars at 7 degrees Virgo by any chance? That's the promiscuous degree.

Not trying to imply anything or be insulting...I just read that somewhere.

I know a guy who is a fire sign with a stellium in Virgo including his Mars & his progressed Mars is also in Virgo, but none of them are at 7 degrees. He does not have a high sex drive (twice a week, tops) and actually lost his virginity late by today's standards. He's just a workaholic.

I think one day yes and one day no is the perfect set up because that break teases you and makes you want it more making it more intense next time you do it. As a venus conjunct mars trine 5th in aries and mars/venus sextile pluto is more about quality and passionate sex then frequency. Doing it every single day takes away the mystery a bit and having breaks teases and adds to the excitement! . I like a little bit of waiting but only a little bit, making me wait more than a little bit just puts me in a bad mood.

Had a Leo friend once with a Mars/Venus conjunct in Cancer. After high school, she pretty much went wild. She wasn't too promiscuos, but definitely got around. I agree, I think it's total crap - we just don't fit in the little stupid definition of what is written about us by those who do know what the hell they are talking about. My friend has a friend who's a Virgo Sun. Totally upright on the outside, but on the inside.... Whoa! He's hardcore S&M. What I've heard about Virgos is that they're either total hot sex machines, or they're asexual. Didn't Linda Goodman mention something similar in one of her books?
