Tips on Saturn Return, anyone? Anyone?

I didn't realize how close I am now to my Saturn return until I went and looked at my transits the other day and realized that Saturn was within 5 degrees of my natal Saturn and within 2 degrees of my natal Pluto. Explains a lot of my frustration lately I think... And my want for total and complete change (thanks Pluto).

Anyway, it'll start retrograding soon enough and so it'll end up going back and forth before it fully hits my Saturn, so I'm going to have to sit with Mr. Saturn for awhile. At the same time I have t. Neptune conjuncting my IC and creating a grand cross with my natal Sun/MC/Venus/Chiron/Jupiter/Uranus. Also, t. Uranus will be conjuncting my 5th house cusp, soon to be followed by a conjunction to my Moon... Lord help me.

Anyone got any fun Saturn return stories they want to share (bad or good)? I could use the pep talk.

The thing to be aware of with a Saturn return is that it is going to activate each planet that it aspects in the Natal.

Study your grid, if there is a hard aspect or configuration that is activated by Natal Saturn then this will be the area you need to work on.

Good Luck Darlin

Aw thanks Lalalinda. Saturn aspects enough in my chart to make for a fun time, so we'll see how it goes.

My natal Saturn is at 6 degrees Libra in the eighth house and right now, Saturn is at about 26 degrees Libra and still in my eighth, right on top of my moon's natal position so I have a little experience with this lol.

Honestly if I had to tell you just one thing to remember about a Saturn Return, it would be to keep reminding yourself it's only temporary. Which might seem a little simple and weird, but it helped me alot.

Don't be afraid to leave old baggage behind. Lighten up and move forward.
The conj to Pluto emphasizes the need to really clean house, and rid yourself of any relationships or situations that are dying and that you've kept on life support for far too long. Saturn/Pluto may also bring a literal death of someone who is close, but that's not always the case. You're being challenged to take responsibility for any feeling of powerlessness in the house where Pluto resides.

I could see that. I have already had to kind of do that with the Chiron transit, and I imagine I will have more to come with the Neptune transit.

That makes some sense actually. I already have done some cleaning house with regards to some friends who have been less than genuine with me (my Pluto is in the 11th house, conjuncting my Saturn on the exact cusp of the 12th).

My natal Saturn also sextiles my Venus/MC/Sun and it sextiles my Neptune. The only other hard aspect, aside from the conjunction to Pluto, is a loose square to Mars (Saturn 0'Scorpio to Mars 8'Leo).

So, I imagine I can probably expect some knocks to my ego and to my drive to get things done, if not a complete change in the way I approach my life's passions and dreams. However, on the upside, I find that with Saturn transits I do usually learn a lot, so perhaps I'll be able to learn enough that I can make big enough changes that I'll get out of the rut that I've been in...
