just a request if you don't mind, but would you be able to do mark where you added the information last, so that it's easy to see what's old and what's new information. or just write it as a new comment, that way it's easy to see,and it gets bumped up everytime you add something new.hope i'm not being too picky or anything, just if it's not too much to ask. lol IP: Logged |

I'm not trying to argue here or be controversial...but I'm not finding any of those tips to be true...and have, case in point, examples to disprove each one...but maybe it's because they will only ring true on a surface level...without considering aspects..for example...planets in the eight house may form quintile and biquintile to the ascendant...but you said eight house doesn't form aspects to the ascendant...that's only one example... Once again, I'm not trying to anger you here, just using analytic to flesh out a solid statement in case we can benefit. IP: Logged |

There is no quintile, bi-quintile,quincunx, semisquare, semisextile in traditional astrology. There are "still being argued" modern astrology concepts and also Malefic houses concept is brought first in traditional astrology. Modern astrology does not mark these houses as malefics. There are also some people mixing modern and traditional. Uranus, neptune, pluto etc... Mars ruler scorpio, jupiter rules pisces etc. in traditional. Please have some knowledge before trying to have proper argument. . There are always other factors in chart playing on in addition what i wrote there. So rarely one aspect brings his full qualities.

Interesting read. I don't believe in "malefics" in astrology. So calling a house malefic because of a placement or in your case, just because its not aspected to asc does not make any sense, to me.Nothing in astrology is malefic or super lucky. You can have the best aspects and placements ever and still be a ****** person or have a ****** life! Astrology is just energies and blueprints to our inner selves. It's not fate and destiny. I found some of the list a bit of a difficult read. The wording is a bit too black and white. But as the original poster wrote “don’t care if they are completely wrong or true. Just sharing my observations”Agree that Malefics aren’t as bad as they are made out. They need to be looked at how they are placed in each case. Are they dignified, well aspected, personal? “don’t care if they are completely wrong or true. Just sharing my observations”[/QUOTE] Wonder if the writer has Mercury in 1st or Mercury/Mars in aspect. As this was super defensive from the get go. The thread then took on the feeling of everyone being careful not to offend or contradict what was written. I have Sun-Jupiter conjunct with Vesta in 2nd. And now that I know that I will die of a stroke-hopefully with some gorgeous hunk in the throes of passion(crossing fingers).I am a frivolous driver . To hell with my Uranus in 8th. Red light? For whom?Accident? Me? Pfft!! IP: Logged |

Aries, Sun is the heart, more like heart attack rather than a stroke, no? I'm hoping for myself if it happens, it's not going to be while using a public restroom with my pants down and toilet paper stuck on my shoe IP: Logged |

I guess, I can relate to what traditional astrology means with the bad houses, I know people with 8th house and my brother has planets in the 12th, somehow out of reality. I have moon in 6th, health would be the issue here I guessI liked the thread, I guess the OP told us that this was her oppinion and that she did not care if it is right or wrong, was only to avoid comments (that came eventually) that happens so often agains the traditional astrology. I personaly am facinated when I read thinks like, "I have this information from old books or manuscripts" IP: Logged |

Enemy destroyer hm? I like that. XD I have Jupiter in the 6th house, Mars trine Neptune and Mars square Jupiter. Not that I’m an enemy maker anyways, I rarely had issues, but interestingly I eventually overcame the problems without direct conflicts.IP: Logged |

Traditional Astrology is just more realistic. New Age Astrology is too delusional for me.
