SoO, I thought it would be fun to share our stories with each other about how many times you noticed you absolutely adore all things about the Sign which rules your 5th House?

My Fifth House cusp starts at 29 Aqua. This being said My entire 5th house is ruled by Pisces. And by no surprise really, all things related to Fantasy, Fun ,Pleasure in my life are very Neptunian. The first guy who won me over back in my early teens had his Sun in my 5th (He wrote me a letter!). My Bf who I adore to pieces for the last 8 years has his moon in my 5th. He's my best friend, my partner in crime, my therapist lol you can see where this is going. And the ONLY other person i've met who actually gives me butterflies (i'm VERY self assured!) also has a bunch of significant planets in my 5th. Creativity is a large part of my life as I love to paint, write,explore and so people that understand MY way and uplift me in my creativity truly make my heart happy. Even the bad side of these people is always understandable to me

I'm all about creativity. I was an English major who took as many creative writing courses as I could and I was a Theatre minor. I started out wanting to major in Art, but I decided that I hated having to learn techniques. I prefer more free form types of drawing and painting.

Since my 5th house is ruled by Taurus, I like being comfortable. My idea of camping is staying at a motel. I like the outdoors and all, but I am NOT sleeping out with the critters.

My 5th is in Libra with Moon (Libra) and Pluto (Scorpio). I've only dated 1 Libra (he had a Libra Stellium and his Moon conjuncted my Moon).

I have venus at 15 Taurus (wink wink)lol. But yeah having Venus in your 5th must feel like super Taurus! My venus is in my 7th so I can kinda relate but yours sounds so much more fun! I always took English and any kind of litrature for my electives because any class where I could write and creatively express my opinion was relaxing. And yes free form of limitless expression is something i agree with as well as one of my favorite forms of painting is abstract Another art form really close to my heart is Photography.(which was inspired by Ansel Adams when I was in my teens whos Sun is conjunct my 5th house Cusp!)

That sounds like fun, 5th house people are usually great friends to me. I only have two close female friends and one of them has her asc in my 5th while the other has NN. Not to mention my Dad and Brother have moon and Asc in my 5th and they always "spoil" me as others say!

Hi The fifth house rules Children and your fifth house is in Cancer (the Mother). You must be a great parent, nurturing but also lighthearted and fun and i'm guessing you really like to support and nourish the creativity of your children. You can play and be goofy with them all the time? Your children are your pride and joy i'm guessing. Your wife having her Asc on your 5th house cusp is very significant if you ask me. Her outlook on life and all the things that give you joy are the same. I would say she makes you veryyy happy! Am I right? This is a sign of soulmate love to me. She understands you like nobody else? And you two must be verry Romantic as a couple.

Thank you a million times over for explaining that.

Indeed, my life is centered around my family and my two sons are the pride of my life. I also have a daughter and she is in Heaven.

You are also correct that nobody understands me like my wife and she does indeed make me very wholesome and delighted. I hope its vice versa.

She's a bit like the "man" in the family in the sense that she set the general direction and I'm play a bit of the "female" nurturing role. Of course, I am the provider, but my wife directs all household matters.

Our outlook in life is uniform and we both have mutual psychic abilities when it comes to each other. The trust and confidence in each other is key.

It was fun until it was revealed that he had substance abuse problems and I had to literally drag him out of the street to drive him home because he was so drunk/high.

That's the whole thing - I don't adore Geminis. They're too flaky and all over the place for me, despite my fifth house cusp being in the sign.

I still doubt that the fifth actually rules sex, too. I agree more with the modern theory that it's the eighth house.

Mine is in Pisces..and carries over into Aries. My Pisces Mars is right on the 5th house cusp, too.

I put a LOT of effort into having a good time or experiencing pleasure...perhaps too much effort. So much so that I shun all my responsibilities most of the time. I skipped class the other day to smoke a J and watch Storage Wars. see what i mean?

that said - i do enjoy Neptunian things for fun. drugs & 'ways of escape', i enjoy daydreaming, i read about the occult/spirituality/astrology/tarot/mysticism for fun....i am an art major in college, and the only thing i can really focus on for long periods of time is creating art or making/listening to music. music is a MUST HAVE for any fun situation.

sexually, i like Piscean things...being submissive, vulnerable, love roleplaying and fantasies, taboo & forbidden desires.

i am gentle and fun-loving with kids. i act like a kid myself when i'm around kids and i love the mood they bring to a house, even though i dont want any children of my own.

Yeah and how can the words Venus in Taurus and food ever be to far off. I love to cook for myseslf and others but especially love it when someone cooks for me. That in and of itself wasn't what sent me fleeing in the opposite direction. It was when he told me that I was "his rock" and that I was the only stability he had in his life that sent me screaming for the hills. (Moon square Uranus) He's managed to get his **** together now, though, but I don't wanna go back down that road with him again.

I'm really weird about people touching me, too. I'm SUPER sensitive and ticklish, so when I don't know someone's about to touch me, and then they do, I jump and twitch. The thought of having a massage makes me picture my body as a Mexican jumping bean!

I dated a couple of Geminis and it wasn't that great. Although they make great friends they are too silly and loosey-goosey for me. I am not into Air sign men as love interests in general though. There is something about them I can't get into. I prefer a more serious/sarcastic/dry-witted guy.

I like sports a lot and I am very competitive. I am especially...okay, I think I remember writing about the 5th a while ago in my KTAA thread so I'll just copy it (with a few edits to help it make more sense for this thread):

5th house: Gemini - I love any kind of trivia game, pop culture, I love it all. I like to write junk like this for fun (3rd house ruler in the 5th). I have written about 50 million bios about myself in 50 million different ways. This is actually the second time I’ve done it astrologically but the first time was actually inspired by this site! I always had a notebook for jotting stuff down while growing up and I still do it. If someone says something I like, or I think of something funny, I write it down.

I love kids and I am definitely going to be one of those people who is determined to raise geniuses - I act like that with kids who aren’t even related to me “Do you know what ____ means?”. Yeah, I’m one of those people. (I am actually certified to teach preschool through third grade in NJ now!)

Romantically, well, I did have a number of dates when I was younger (always a man in tow, too-tight dresses - Leo). Those days are over. I guess because of all of the planets in the 7th (and 5th house ruler in the 7th even), I have become more of a LTR person. In my hs yearbook my best friend wrote “you’ve got to stop writing letters!” because I used to write love notes to guys and it would often get me into trouble! Mars is here so I’m a real jerk when I am playing those trivia games. When I do play sports I become quite jerky also. With tennis, I grunt like Monica Seles. During a soccer game I'll curse like a sailor. I get very competitive even though I am not the best athlete! Even walking in the city I’m like “c’mon, hurry up!” because I am a fast walker. I’m trying to develop more patience. I know it’s not my best side...

Update: I even have an "advanced graduate certificate" in athletic coaching (don't laugh, it was an easy add-on to my major - Psychology with emphasis in Health Studies)! I chose volleyball as my "observation sport" but I'd rather coach a "lazy sport" like golf, bowling or field/throwing events, if I ever even decide to coach at all (probably not)...

Furthermore, I don't have children yet, but I enjoy working with children (particularly the young ones 0-6, but I've worked with all age groups). I have a real knack for it (probably because my 5th house Aries Moon makes me a kid at heart! ).

I have never dated an Aries (even though it is on my 5th house cusp). Honestly, I've never wanted to. Every Aries I've known always felt more like a brother to me. However, I did date a guy with an Aries Mars that fell into my 5th house. I enjoyed that... I have dated a few military types, and that makes sense with Aries on the 5th.
