Or is that relevant to earth signs? Because I know Geminis a lot.. since they make up my entire circle of friends. Dad is a Gemini sun as well. Went to school with most of them (all girls) what's up with the flashiness? need to tell everyone what material things you have? Sometimes I was under the impression they can be shallow... it's almost as if that's all they have going for them. Also the obsession with money and being rich? What's up with that? I used to be friends with this Gem girl it's all she had going for her - flashiness, big and better kind of lifestyle. Is this a Gemini trait? Apart of their social climbing? It's really like their self-worth/existence depends on people noticing the flashy material items they have. What is up with that? It's embarrassing IMO sometimes. Head to toe designer? I like subtly if I wear designer it'll be hear and there not head to toe. And why do they like to flash It before your eyes, as if you already couldn't see the glistening white diamonds encrusted into their flashy Chanel watches? I don't understand lol!!! Is this why their relationships don't last because they spend too much time focusing on attracting others based on social climbing tactics?IP: Logged |

Do this gemini people have Taurus in them bc Taurus likes wealth, status and the good life and are very picky of who they are been seeing with bc they like status but can also be very humanitarian in addition to all these things depending on rest of chart such as having planets in the 11th house and or aqua rising.IP: Logged |

maybe you are right because my sister has Gemini Ascendant, and whenever she comes back from shopping it's like she has to announce to everyone in her vicinity the many louboutins she purchased.
You want to talk about something of substance and she just wants to announce "So I bought these really stunning loubou's and then these valentinos!!!" and god forbid you ignore her she will just enunciate even louder until *someone* acknowledges her purchases. I honestly don't know any Geminis like this, especially not the flashy part, and if they do show off something every once in a while it is so awkward and obvious that it is a "laugh it off" type of thing. I agree with the Taurus placement thing though. I know a few Taurean Venus people who are big show offs... IP: Logged |

Well if were just generalizing. Gemini is not flashy or materialistic. Its an intelectual sign. My dominant sign is gemini, I'm not like this at all. Nor is my mother and my sister. These people you know may have a gemini sun but have you seen their entire birth chart?IP: Logged |

Hm notice that trend... the chart I posted my friend = huge show off is like this same with my sister.
If you don't notice them and what they have = self esteem insufficient you have to notice them and they will do what they will tomake you notice and If you still don't care they write you off or something similar

I remember that last time I seen my friend last week... her father bought her yet another expensive watch because she "lost the Burberry one" he bought her another Chanel and she literally placed it right into my face. I ignored it, she kept doing it, I gave in and said "Wow great watch! another Chanel?" this was her response.":O!!!!! Uhhhh maaaaaaah gad!! reaaaaally! do you Reaaaally like it? Ugh it's so nice right? At first I wasnt sure!! But I'm so happy you like itt!!!" its like she was on speed, her mood immediately elevated LOL as soon as I complimented her watch. Not much depth, nice to be around but shallow as fook. Basically you can be her best friend if you notice and compliment all the things she has. Similar to my sister and other Geminis with Taurus Venus. It's really entertaining. And she will smite you if you have something before she does especially if you don't go around showing it off in the manner she does. But Taurus, is a very giving sign... IP: Logged |

Thats a fact. Its rulled by planet mercury. Besides that persons birth chart only had their sun in gemini. You did not take into consideration that had a venus in taurus or mars in leo. I would say that having her Sun sextile Leo Mars leads to showing off. Her sun is disposed by Mercury in Cancer, which might add an emotional need to be validated by the showing off of her nice things (Venus in Taurus.)IP: Logged |

Um I never said mars in leo is not intelligent. I do not have a problem with any sign. Also I don't think astrology dictates how smart a person is. .....

ok........I have mars in leo, I am not stupid and not all geminis are smart, a good portion of them love studying but there are a few you come across that waste their intelligence and are very superficial. I don't spend a bunch of money on clothe but do like to shop occasionally and try to look presentable. I am not the type of chick that looks awesome every day bc that is time consuming and I rather do other things with my time. I am deep and far from superficial. IP: Logged |

That wasn't my question. I asked if you don't think they are intelligent. A simple yes or no would have sufficed.
