I apparently have a "type", but it makes me wonder if any specific sign/planet placements would make me go for this rugged/masculine type (I also go for the broad shoulders, strong masculine men). I'm completely turned off by metrosexual men who spend more time primping than I do.

I know that the Sun and Mars in a woman's chart indicates the kind of man she's attracted to, but I haven't read about any of the physical characteristics. I have Cancer in both Sun and Mars, and one website wrote that Sun-Mars Cancers like to feel secure and protected. It still doesn't explain my magnetic attraction towards men with facial hair haha :-D

I have Sun in Cancer, Moon in Virgo, Venus in Gemini, Mars in Cancer, and my Ascendant is in Aries..(could it be the Asc in Aries??)

Anyone else have these placements and understands what I'm talking about? haha

I'm with you on facial hair it's the most sexiest part of a man. Mmmmmmmmm......... I get the bees knees when in the vicinity of such a man, that I've posted. Ya most of my friends think I'm batsh*t for having interest/sexual attraction to men that resemble Aristotle but men with facial hair need some love too!

i went through a big beard phase a few years ago. i'm not sure WHY though. and why i'm not really into them anymore. actually copious body hair of the body also appealed to me back then. now i could go either way.

there was definitely something very COMFORTING about the beardiness and the hair though, it's true..

Well, it's often said that Cancer types like their women feminine and their men masculine. So that could explain why the "bear" look appeals to you more?

I'm your opposite Mars sign, Capricorn. It's funny because I used to hate beards, but as I got older I appreciated them more.
Christian Bale in "Reign of Fire" did a lot to change my mind, lol... now that is a sexy bit of scruff. Capricorn rules the bones - I like men with good bone structure and I don't like it when a beard obscures that.

Its interesting, hubby is rugged and has facial hair which he ends up shaving bc I pressure him too. I like his facial hair but also like him without facial hair and after a while the facial hair in my taste gets a big out of control or I just start missing his shaved hair after a while.

even though he is rugged and has thick big legs broad shoulders, has carried couches and huge tvs by himself which I find a little crazy. He felt in a pit in our property while working on it and didn't break a bone. Perhaps his mars in scorpio and moon in cancer explain his physique.

He is simultaneously a bit metrosexual although he doesn't take long at all getting ready. I think this is his libra sun which makes him artistic and so beauty is really important to him. He wants to built his own house so it has that look he wants, super modern loook, and so everything is design for what he sees ideal and considers comfortable and beautiful.

So he is like this really manly guy who wants to built a house in the woods that is self efficient with a wood gasifier, wind generator and solar panels. He wants to some day not have to pay for rent, mortgage, electricity and utilities, just tax property. This is his dream. He loves Chopping wood and misses very much having a wood stove like we did at our last place.

but his sun in libra gives him this metrosexual side that only buys clothe that is a good brand and that looks good and has amazing taste in interior design but his taste is modern and masculine. This things are really important to him. Not to mention he cooks awesome bc his creative and smart and likes home life.

Best friend from high school for 10 years was a sun cancer with mars in cancer as well as my sister and they both like their man really masculine and BF loooooooooved facial and body hair. My sister is paranoid about gay guys. She has ended relationships bc she thought a guy was bi or gay and they later went on to get married and have a family and nobody in her family or her friends suspected that any of the guys she has dated are gay.

Masculinity is so important to her that she has sabotaged many good relationships .

The attraction to hairiness I think is a cancer thing. You, my sister and best friend for 10 years all cancers with mars in cancer.

Amen to your taste, i'm the exact same except more hair on the top, wash and go scruffy. i was about to say mars in sagittarius until i read mars in cancer.
