Do you feel comfortable crying in front of people? And what do you want them to do?

wtf?!
I have never seen a man cry in my life (except on tv)
can someone give me insight here? any aspects? placements would make him so insecure?

This is the first time I've seen a man cry in front of me. I was at my guys place, and he began to cry softly. Made me sooooo uncomfortable but I did all I could. Omg I'm still shaken up writing about. This is what happened:
Everything was going fine, we just finished watching a movie and I guess somewhere in the movie it made him switch. We were watching ides of march
spoiler alert
there was a scene where one character committed suicide because she believed Ryan goslings character would come open with her affair with the governor/abortion[/B]
then he asked why women leave their partners, why some women cant just stay with one man why they had to go and cheat on them. I told him not everyone was like that, but he continued. I became absent-minded (have a habit of going into my head sometimes) and that's when he started with the crying. He asked "Would you ever leave me? Be honest" I said "where is this coming from?" he asked "I'm just curious." the he starts crying and did the same thing he did last month begging me not to leave him how devastated he would be if I left him for someone else, saying he hopes I'm as serious about him as he is for me, he starts going on about his mom just leaving him like that, begging and begging and crying it shocked me, didn't know what to do except reassure him.

Not to sound shallow but i really don't know why he thinks so low of himself? He is extremely attractive, so giving, witty, intelligent, smart, has a good career etc. He doesn't even believe he's good looking wtf!? I'm not used to this he normally acts overly masculine you know, a mans man.

Any advice, the more we get involved the more of this I see in him. Crying???? (I'm not saying it's wrong I'm just shocked!) here's our chart combined. Please any advice I don't like to see this side of him makes me uncomfortable a little... not used to it.

LOL I experienced this with my ex who was a cancer sun and had gemini placements.

They're usually kinda insecure, it's a mix of having an inferiority complex and being overdramatic.

Sometimes it's their moods, but most of the time it's just them being cancer lol!

Edit: Ok I read your post again. His mum left him? Yeah it's stemming from this. Insecurities bc of what happened with his mum. He is scared to be abandoned and let down.

Lol yeah that ex cried alot!! And had lots of questions about me leaving him etc. Even when I discovered he was cheating on me, I was the one expressionless and emotionless (was in shock, it only really hit me like 3 weeks afterwards) and he was the one all crying and crap.

Think cancer men just cry alot. That's how they are. But then again, they would only cry if they were comfortable enough to let their guard down.

And about his mother, yeah... That was leave major insecurities. Lots of people have these fears if they've experienced their mum or dad leaving them. You just need to make him feel secure.

my ex was a triple cancer and gemini sun.
He cried way more than I did. His moodiness OMG I swear he was worse than me. One time I told him "it's my time of the month not yours" and his remark..."I'll act and feel how I want" and yes he said it in a very moody pouting way.

He has mommy issues too from his mom dieing of cancer, and he wasn't around his mom as much as he liked cause she had depression and didn't know how to deal with his depression, bi-polar and adhd.

I'm a Gemini Rising with Cancer Jupiter...I'm a tad moody...but I am not a crier. The last time I really cried was probably a year ago. I tried crying about a month ago but I couldn't.

The inferiority complex usually comes with the men. Cancer is such an effeminate sign. I often find that the men have a hard time finding confidence in their manhood...

Anywho, I'm just as moody as any other Cancer woman, but I don't cry in public. Libra Moon/Rising won't let me do that. Gotta keep a straight face, you know? At home, though, I'll ball and ***** all I want because it's my home - I'll do what I want. I usually lock myself in my room for days and don't speak to anyone.

I don't think placements are your bf's problem though. Guys with "mommy issues" are just like girls with "daddy issues". They tend to cling to the opposite sex and test them with a push-and-pull to see if you'll finally leave. Sometimes you almost think that they want you to leave just to prove their insecurities true...

Wow that's weird... I have Gemini rising, but Mars and Jupiter both in Gemini in the 12th. I just had a mini-meltdown and while I was putting on really black eyeshadow and lipstick, listening to really angry music I started laughing at myself and thought "Yeah, I'm single because I'm f.... CRAZY." I just had some really, really disappointing news and it sent me ove r the edge. I have a Taurus moon and even though I'm pretty steady most of the time (it's trine with Saturn) I secretly think the moodiness associated with Taurus, and the dramatics of Aries just make everything worse.

I was just about to ask if Mars in the 12th signifies mental issues, even though it's not Mercury.

Do you feel comfortable crying in front of people? And what do you want them to do?

No, never. My best friend of ten years has never seen me cry, and my Scorpio best best friend of six has only seen me cry once.

interesting what Elizabeth-O said. I do the push-pull thing (kind of) and yes it's insecurities but I don't know where it comes from. My parents and I are close.

He sounds exactly the same as this gemini male I previously was freinds with.

The funny thing is he was born one day before me and the only thing that rally seperates both of us chart wise is the fact that I have slightly more "earth" then him and he has slightly more "water" then me.

I'm more of a Earth/Air/Fire mix he is more of a Water/Air mix.

In effect he is more emotional then me and I'm more of a "get things done" person.

The thing that had me was I found out that there was family problems with his younger brother. Both my libra bud and I decided if we can cheer him up a bit.

I wasn't expecting to see him cry in front of us and for that long. If it was me I whould have been uspet, but at the same time trying to figure out whats the best thing to do next.

I whouldn't drop everything and cry.

Heck, You know that look that children give on christmas day, I swear I have never seen a grown man still give that look, LoL.

I whould check out his "water" sign contacts espically his moon if its in a water sign and then check out the moon aspects.

if it wasn't for my added capircorn aspects. I'd most likely be the same as him.

----------------------------------------
Capircorn Rising
Gemini Sun, 5th House
Aries Moon
Mercury in Gemini
Venus In Taurus
Mars In Cancer

OK and see what's SO interesting is vedically, I have an Aries moon. My Gemini rising would be Taurus rising, and if I have Taurus rising it makes my DSC - Scorpio! So in a round about way we have the same planets.

Does it mean anything?
