I've been trying to find some info on the aspects in synastry but there seems little info.

What would it mean if someone had their NN conjunct their SO's moon??

What if their NN and moon isn't aspected between them but had the same ruler? Does that make a difference?

What about if their NN sextile the SO's moon in Taurus under 2 degrees?

Anyone have any experiences with these aspects?

NN sextile Moon, Moon supports emotionally the NN person's evolving into a more whole individual. Sextile is not a strong aspect, so this is a matter of Moon gently befriending NN along their journey, being there to lend a hand (in the manner of their Moon sign, in Taurus the Moon provides practical favors, and offers their sensual nature as a means to relax the NN person, sharing sensual experiences). They are there to lend a hand if the NN person trips up, but they do not provide a secure base like the trine would. It is a sweet aspect.

NN conjunct Moon, NN learns, as a passive participant of Moon's emotional world, a new way of bringing their NN into realization. Very complex, potentially a very close and secure contact. It can happen that Moon person expects NN to bring them what they need (keep in mind the sign you're dealing with here) so in that they are issuing a challenge to the NN person to actively embrace their Node in a sensitive, caring fashion. I say complex because the Moon is not direct like the Sun, Moon wavers and wanders and changes, so NN is continually learning something new about themselves through this relationship, through the kaleidoscope of the Moon person's moods and reactions. There can be a v.deep bonding between them.

"What if their NN and moon isn't aspected between them but had the same ruler? Does that make a difference?"
---I don't understand the wording here.

Thanks!

What I meant was, does the degree matter? What would be the max orb between them to make it come "alive" in a relationship?

^ Between the Moon and Node for an aspect, the closer the better, in general I use about 5 degrees for the conjunction, square and opposition, if they are in the right signs (ex: an opp from Cancer to Capricorn I would use 5 orb, but if it's an opp from Cancer to Aquarius, I'd use probably 2 degrees, since the signs would change the expression, so mostly what you have here is the force of the opposition). For the sextile and trine I like to keep them closer, personally, so it'd be up to 3.

All a matter of personal preference

I just became friends these past few months with someone and his NN conjunct my moon in Pisces within a 3degree orb. What kind of "lesson" am I supposed to be giving this person? I definitely feel more mature them him emotionally, but then again ATM I still don't know him that well. I do feel from time to time I am teaching him to be more understanding of others.

^ Moon in Pisces needs that space to get away from everything and escape for emotional sustenance. Where that escape may be for each person is different, but for you, depending on what house it falls in, you would be in need of his assistance in that matter. And he would have to cultivate Piscean qualities in order to bring that comfort to you, if that is what he chooses to do. That's where his growth would be. The Moon provides the need, the NN person chooses whether or not to deliver.

I'll give an example of mine, someone's Moon fell in my 12th conj my NN in Cancer. 12th is a house of isolation, for one, but it also has other meanings. He was a friend, an older man, and he had no car and trouble getting to the store to buy groceries. Not to mention that at the end of the month, his nominal funds were often depleted and he was left hungry. I offered to bring him groceries the last week of each month and I'd often bring him prepared meals that I had cooked (we were neighbors). He felt very nurtured by this, and it deepened our friendship. I felt I had no choice but to offer, he had helped me before with other matters, and when I learned of his situation, when he, as the Moon, felt comfortable and vulnerable enough to let me know what he was going through, I wanted to be there for him.

I have other examples, but they are all variations on the above. Where the Moon or NN falls in your chart, by house and sign, will always have bearing on the situation, either what is needed or what will be given.

My friend's Moon, in his chart, didn't fall in his 12th, but in mine it did, so I experienced him as being in a state of isolation.

Thanks for your reply! My moon is in my first house. Is he supposed to help me with some sort of action? How does this relate to my moon in pisces? We are in school together and have been spending a lot of time talking about school, our future, studying, etc. together. I have the opportunity to travel abroad with him through a study abroad program at school. He speaks Spanish, I do, too, but I am not a native speaker. Perhaps he is supposed to help me to achieve this action which will ultimately lead to a goal I've been working towards for years (greater fluency in Spanish), and the completion of my degree (if I go abroad this summer I will finish my degree in July).

^ That would be nice But right off the bat I wouldn't put studying on a Pisces Moon in the 1st. If, however, the ultimate goal was to express yourself emotionally to more people, if you're speaking the language does that equate to you making more connections with others, would it put you in the spotlight? Moon in the 1st does not want to be left behind, in Pisces is sensitive to being misunderstood. In all likelihood, though, I think he may be there to serve some immediate need of yours. Moon in 1st does not want to wait around, they want their emotions validated like yesterday. It may be that around you, he is forced (the 1st) to accept your changing moods, as they happen, and then let them pass by, without trying to do Virgo and analyze and put you in some kind of order. You might feel like a whirlwind to him. His gift may be to encourage your free emotional expression. When you feel particularly low, and in need, and ready to be vulnerable, then the real light of Pisces Moon on his NN will be obvious. Your current situation doesn't sound like that, to me.

I'll give another example, it's not with the Moon tho..anyway, my Cancer NN is on my baby's Mercury in her 5th. I spend a lot of time nurturing her imaginative mind, so together away from school I've been teaching her creative writing and story structure, going on about archetypes, etc. She hasn't even encountered creative writing in school, yet, so that fits in with my 12th house theme and with her 5th. Her Mercury in my 12th in Cancer means that she's opened up for me a new emotional language, a softer way of relating to others, by my tone and the words that I use. So now I have the language with which to speak my NN more clearly.
