A very interesting article - and depressing...
I have my sun on venus/saturn midpoint. I have my leo sun conjunct venus/saturn midpoint (2 degrees).

They do not last and there is always distance in the relationships.

This site seems to define the Sun/Moon midpoint as the "marriage" point - what your partner will be like.

I read somewhere else that the Sun/Moon midpoint is a point of projection - that if you have a planet or asteroid conjunct that point, you project it with both your conscious and unconscious sides, beyond control.

For example, someone with her Venus in Scorpio conjunct her Sun/Moon midpoint said that she can't help attracting lewd sexual attention.

Are there other interpretations for the Sun/Moon midpoint?

P.S.

P.P.S.
Is it bad if someone's Saturn is conjunct my Venus/Mars midpoint?

The sun/moon midpoint according to Robert Hand is "The balance of male and female in your psyche which expresses itself in terms of relationships with the opposite sex. It is the point of inner psychological balance"

Apart from it being important when activated in synastry, the sun/moon midpoint describes how you go about balancing your need to assert your sense of personal identity with what you need to make you feel emotionally secure. If you look at the Sabian, you will get a description of the quality of the energy and the information flow that helps you acheive balance between the conscious and the subconscious mind. The sun/moon midpoint is the point where you feel whole and complete in yourself; it is the approach you take to accept yourself on a deeper level where yin/yang energy meets.

Where a planet falls on a midpoint, the midpoint becomes an integral part of that planet's expression. According to Hand, the conjunction and the opposition are both considered "direct" midpoints; there should be no distiction made between them and both should be treated as conjunctions if a planet falls there. Orb 1.5 for direct midpoints, although this can be increased for luminaries. For planets making other hard aspects to the midpoint, use 1 degree orb - use 45,90 and 135 deg aspects.

^interesting idea to use sabians.

PHASE 85 (GEMINI 25°): A GARDENER TRIMMING LARGE PALM TREES.

KEYNOTE: Bringing under control nature's power of expansion.

The intellect of man is like a tropical plant in that it tends to expand “wildly” in many directions, seeking direct contact with the sun’s rays. Like a palm tree it uses its dead leaves to protect itself against dry heat, the heat of the realm of mind when deprived of the complementary power of the feelings. A culture is characterized by specific "forms" and "prime symbols"; education's main object, at least in cultural and classical periods, has been to contain the imagination of individuals within these traditional forms. An entirely different approach to education is being attempted in our transitional age.

At this last stage of the seventeenth five-fold sequence we have reached the level of fulfillment of the impulses which began at the first stage (Gemini 21°) in a tumultuous upsurge of self-assertion and protest against the past. Now this upsurge has found its place in the evolution of mankind and society; and - symbolically speaking - "labor" has become not only unionized, but a strong force in the body politic. Yet the energies released seek constant expansion and therefore have to be controlled. There is need for repeated PRUNING.
