Topic: Chiron in the 3rd---Self Expression Compromised

Just got a brainstorm. I see how Chiron worked in the 3rd, for me. The 3rd house is ruled by Gemini whose biggest motivation is self expression. Self expression to a Gemini is like chocolate to a chocolate addict. It is like fuel and life to a Gemini. I have Cap on the 3rd house cups with Chiron in the 3rd house. That has been my Chiron wound. My self expression was taken away, as a child.
Does this make sense to you? Any thoughts would be very appreciated. Thanks!------------------

Yes I think you have made an accurate assessment. Astrology is very literal if you have the skills.I have Chiron 0 Cancer and my mother wounded me. It's in my 9th.. not sure how they fits it though. IP: Logged |

Thank you! I got a brain storm of the type that you know it is true. For you, there will be pain with finding your spirituality or pursuing higher education, travel etc. It may be denied you. Does that fit?

Ami.. no my spirituality is very strong and its the source of my strength. Maybe since I overcame my mothers wounds, I am now in a position to be a wonded healer on all 9th house subjects.Chiron wounds us, so that we can learn from it, and ultimately teach others and help others who may be suffering the way we once did. How would you view Chiron in the 3rd. It feels like "fun" or creativity was allowed. I have both of these  It is more of a deeper expression of self, identity, not the 5th house stuff, as much as core person hood. What do you think? ------------------

That's what I was thinking, too.
I have Chiron in the 5th, and I feel like I can't express myself the way I'd like to.
I also feel like my creativity is blocked, like I want to express things on an artistic level somehow but it just doesn't work.. So frustrating.
Oh and romance.. ahem. Yes there's a wound there, too.Chiron in the 5th is a difficult placement because it's in the Sun's house. So it really is about self expression being squashed down. IP: Logged |

True. Higher education - stuff like college, is the ninth. Earlier forms of education are the third, along with stuff like siblings. The ninth is spirituality and religion as well. For me Chiron in the 3rd has played out in a really literal way - issues with siblings. IP: Logged |

Maybe that's because you've already learned to heal that wound? Have you ever had problems with communication earlier in life? I find it surprising that your Chiron is in the 3rd, actually. IP: Logged |

I did. Actually I've read some pretty eerie interpretations of the placement, stuff about having been afraid to speak or having had speech impediments.
