I recently found out the birthtime of my romantic interest, and discovered with both have each other's Suns on our descendants.

I was wondering what's the effect of this aspect alone? Is it that the descendant person sees the Sun as the perfect partner?...

Lots of projection back and forth. Projection could mean falling in love, could mean seeing a side of yourself in the other that you don't care for. You two are likely to feel like natural partners to the other. Classic advice is don't push the other to be like you, let them be their own person.
I've been the Sun person, and I've been the DSC person, but never both at once, sounds interesting (!)
