My chiron conjuncts his venus
My venus is opposite his chiron
My sun is opposite his chironHow would these aspects play out in synastry? I've read the conjunction of venus/chiron=true love...the opposite of venus/chiron=impossible dream...sun opposite chiron...??? It seems Magi Astrology puts a lot of emphasis on chiron in synastry. I hate to be redundant, I am sure this has been posted about a lot...but do you all subscribe to Magi's hypotheses? And what are your thoughts about the above aspects in a synastry chart esp. the venus/chiron DW. Sun/chiron?? I am clueless on this one. Do relationships with a lot of chiron tend to last or fizzle out?

Yes I do.My Venus Gemini 14
His Chiron Gemini 14 His Venus Virgo 13
His Mars Virgo 14
His Uranus Sagittarius 14 Wasn't a DW but we do have Venus trine Vertex exact DW. When we met it was very deep and profound love. Chiron wounds. IP: Logged |

No, I still talk to him. But he is so slow with love. He is like a turtle and I don't have time to wait for him. Sad too, because I'm the love of his life. We met when his P Venus was conjunct His Natal Sun and my ASc conjuncts this. Right now even, his Solar Arc Venus is exactly conjunct his Natal Sun. And I know I'm the one giving him the love energy because my last name asteroid opposes his Sun exact. IP: Logged |

Do you mean the chiron person wounds the other? So I guess we both wounded each other in some way? Like you, felt the same way upon meeting. Speaking of literally running, I think we both ran from it, brought up painful stuff.

I stopped seeing him awhile ago.
He is too damn slow for me. And yes the Chiron person wounds BUT only if the Chiron person has afflictions which he clearly does lol. IP: Logged |

Athene, one more thing (and thanks for your patience!)...can the "wounding" mean the chiron person brings up the venus person's "stuff" thereby bringing down venus' walls and venus finds it hurtful and "wounding" to confront such issues? IP: Logged |

It depends what is afflicting the Chiron. In our case since Venus/Mars/Uranus was in the mix, the wounding has to do with us not being able to have a permanent stable relationship. Uranus isn't about stability.

Honestly? It depends. Remember Chiron is wounding OR healing. So the relationship could actually be extremely healing and emotionally beneficial to one or both parties...or be really hurtful. I've had people trigger my Chiron and it was hurtful for me but that doesn't mean that's always how it'll manifest for everyone. I really think you should just continue on seeing one another anyway for now and then if you start seeing signs that it's going to go bad, get out while you can. But it'd be stupid to just figure it'd be a disaster just based on that one aspect and run like hell because you could be running out on and missing something good. IP: Logged |

Magi astrology put much into chiron but they not talk about chariklo. I think this astrologycouple Chiron/Chariklo in aspect in synastry must be most important. Exactly on same way as eros/psyche.IP: Logged |

Magi stuff is bogus, don't waste your time with all those fatalistic linkage descriptions. They put waaaaaaay to much emphasis on Chiron, which was only discovered during the 1970s, and they say Juno is ONLY about sex. Talk about revisionist history! That is NOT what the mythology of Juno is. Only thing I like about Magi is the use of declinations. Magi astrology has been discussed many times before here and the majority of people feel they are full of it. ------------------

Don't think they are lying about Venus/Chiron conjunctions in synastry. In my experience it is indeed the marker of true and very deep love. Something about it makes it very different from other connections. IP: Logged |

Nah, not discounting your experience at all, I wouldn't put too much stock in their theories regarding Venus/chiron.
