I'm convinced that I'm still blooming in every way possible...no Venus/Saturn square to speak of, though. Just a sesquisquare.Oh, and my chart ruler is in Capricorn. I look annoyingly young....I'm hoping I'll age like a fine wine. IP: Logged |

I was an ugly duckling... now I'm just a bit better with make-up ahaha
I have Neptune in Capricorn in the 7th house and opposing my ASC. Uranus in Aquarius too. Chart ruler lies in 11th house in Taurus.IP: Logged |

i have saturn trine venus but its kind of wide. my chart ruler is in sag conjunct the Great Attractor in the 3rd house in the duad taurus SQUARE my Jupiter R in virgo in the 12th house. I was defently not the prettiest while growing up especially in high school. i was going through so many fashion phases sooooo many phases. Also my ascendant is in libra and I think over time my appearance got better because I gained more confidence.

I wouldn't say ugly, but just awkward looking untill the ages of 25. In high school I wasn't one of the 'hot' girls, I didn't develop breasts/curves untill the age of 18/19, I had a boring hairstyle in school and no style/makeup at all. Now I'm all for style and makeup and doing my hair nice, I'm happier with my body. Saturn conjunct Venus here  IP: Logged |

My chart is saturn dominated, and saturn conj my venus/asc. No ugly duckling "syndrome". I blossomed quite early and quickly (around the time when I was 13 years-old). For me, the thing that comes with saturn on venus/asc is that I were judged pretty harshly on my appearance. IP: Logged |

Saturn aspecting the Sun-----it's a long road but you really develop into your best self when you're older.
I guess that could be said of everyone but as far as astrology goes it seems be especially true with those with Sun/Saturn aspects.
Everyone thinks they're cute and perky,got it all together at 20,and it's true some do,but I find it so much more interesting to see the personality develop--Taylor Swift sure has accomplished a hell of a lot by 25 (wow) but maybe she was meant to peak early---who knows what she will be like at 50 or 60-----maybe still a powerhouse. A couple of examples are William H Macy,who was kind of geeky and nerdy when he was younger and who I find to be just so much more appealing at age 65.He just looks so much more comfortable with himself,like he has grown into himself. I also see this aspect in Ethan Hawke's chart--he was also kind of just green and awkward when he was young,also others might prefer him at that age,I also think he has just grown a lot,just matured. Richard Gere is another one,with Sun conjunct Saturn in Virgo.Of course he was gorgeous and hot when he was young,aren't we all,but I think he always knew it was a long winding road and he would really blossom when he was much older. Lots of people don't develop that much,they just stay the same version of themselves. It's a interesting subject---who peaks when they're young,who peaks when they're old,and who just stays the same.
