Hey everyone, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Mine was low key and I spent today alone (by choice). I feel very zen!

I haven't been paying much attention to astrology lately, except for watching the skies for retrogrades and reading my Twittascope, lol.

In the last week, I decided to do my Solar Return chart, as my birthday is coming up in January... and when I told a friend about what my year looks like, she asked me to cast hers...

WELL!!!

Her birthday is March 13th and contained in her chart is a Grand Trine with Pluto at 9º Capricorn, Mars at 10º Virgo, and Venus/Jupiter at 7º & 9º of Taurus respectively.

I thought it would be fun to spark a discussion here about how this may manifest in each of our charts and what all this means.

My natal Moon is at 10º Capricorn (4th house) and this trine will affect my 8th & 12th houses.

What do you all think this will mean for the world/everyone?

I just think its interesting because quite a few people will have this configuration in their Solar Charts this year, what do you think it means?

For my friend, Pluto is conjunct her MC, Mars is in her 6th house and Venus/Jupiter is in her 1st house.

love to hear all your thoughts!

Hello Venus,

Glad you had a good Xmas. Happy New Year! To you, and everyone on LL.

Well, that Earth Grand Trine might pack a wallop for me. Venus/Jupiter will be in conjunct with my ASC and n.Mercury in the 1st. Mars will be conjunct my n.Pluto in the 5th, and Pluto will be in a trine with n.Pluto and n.Mercury. So, I'll have the full-on trine going on myself. Not to mention, t.BM Lillith is also in there, conjunct Venus/Jupiter. What's in store, I have no clue! Can't wait to see how t.Pluto trine n.Pluto plays out, if at all. Has anyone else had/felt that combo?

Maybe I'll write something that'll sell. That'd be nice.

It seems positive and powerful, doesn't it? Venus, Mars, Jupiter & Pluto all playing nice together! hehe.

I'm so excited to see what happens!

an example of an earth grand trine
earths should be stable, resourceful types who either do really well or really badly with money.

What if you have this natally, a grand earth trine with Jupiter Mars and Pluto---Mars in Taurus in the 8th,Pluto in Virgo in the 12th,and Jupiter in late Sag (I guess it's not a literal grand earth trine, maybe an out-of sign one?) in the 4th.It's part of a Kite with Sun/Venus in the 10th opposing Jupiter.I was never quite sure what to make of it---

Being a pessimistic/"realistic" Cap, I'm worried about what this alignment might have in store on a larger scale, what with gas prices at like $5/gallon around here.

Trine = easy interchange of energies.

Venus/Jupiter = expansion or overinflation (Jupiter) of $ (which is ruled by Venus), in Venus' own sign, Taurus, making Venus as overindulgent as Jupiter.

rx Mars....not sure how that factors in...anger without the energy, which is depression? In Virgo, which suggests something needs cleaning out. Picking away.

Pluto in Capricorn, with an approaching square from Uranus in Aries...which is already evidenced on the other side of the globe, and Americans obviously aren't happy with the status quo either.

Plus Neptune (liquids, GAS) conjunct Chiron (healing of wound) in Pisces (liquid), which further compounds the gas theme in place by the price of natural resources that the grand trine in EARTH implies. Neptune-Chiron and rx Mars converging towards an opposition.

When the ones at the top suffer a loss, it's the middle class/average Joe that pays the price. Trickle down effect is unfair.

Anyone else looking into investing in stocks for bicycle parts? Horse and carriage?

Grand trines in a natal chart can cause inertia and laziness..... So if this grand trine is touching something in your chart or angle then poss you will have nice sociable time, depending on the natal planet being aspected.

On the upside - it could soon become super easy to drop those last 5-10 lbs because food prices will further rise in reaction to increased transport costs...i.e. you're gonna hafta eat less!! Hahaha

I could sure use that after the effects of a Venus-Jupiter in Taurus on my "diet" (chocolate donuts!!!!!!)

It would be interesting to see what transit weighs more in the natals - I feel that Taurus Jupiter is saying "eat anything and everything" and Virgo Mars is counting calories and wanting to eat healthy.

The Dow has been on a decline since Venus and Jupiter broke up. Had a bit of mojo left while Venus was still in Taurus, with a nice little swerve up towards the 29th degree. But since Venus entered Gemini, it seems to be on a definite declining trend...at least so far.

Ehhh I have a natal grand trine in earth, its a blessing and a curse. Everything falls into my lap, usually money and material things, but it has taught me nothing of discipline or responsibility. I trust to my luck and put in the least effort to get what I want. To make matters worse it contacts my taurus(inertia/self indulgence/stuck in a rut) asc. Yes I can be very lazy...Not sure if I love this configuration or hate it. At least its in the fire houses though and I have more drive than my sis who has no grand trine just a chart full of sextiles and trines and One square. Steven Arroyo speaks good of a grand trine in fire houses, but idk...
