I was wondering if you guys can share some of the significant transits on your very first meeting/date with someone whom you guys have fell deeply in love with who you guys are married to now/is dating now/no longer with (but still had a huge impact on you). What are some of the transiting "romance" and "love" indicators for you guys at the time? I was just curious because I was finding the transit on the day me and my bf met, and it so happens that Jupiter was transiting his 5th house and was tightly conjunct his moon. What surprised me was that in synastry, my jupiter is also tightly conjunct his moon in the 5th house. 2 weeks prior to that, the day that "cupid shot us with its arrow", the moon was transiting into my 7th house and was tightly conjunct my DC in taurus. Also at the same time, the sun was transiting through my bf's 6th house, into the 7th house and was tightly conjunct his DC in Gemini. Does this show any significance at all? It was just something I found oddly interesting while looking at the natal/transit charts. I'm still a noob at this stuff so I would appreciate anyone's contribution on related experiences! You should look at transits involving house 1 ruler (self) and house 7 ruler (partner), for when you (1st) met (aspect) your partner (7th)I love the idea of a 1st meeting chart, but accept the composite as an indication of how long the relationship will last and when it started. Still open to the idea that a first meeting chart is the one to look at, as opposed to composite. IP: Logged |

If it's after the fact, what's the point? Isn't the $64 million question when a particular transit is going to occur and therefore you are probably going to meet X type of person in Y spot? Transits after the fact is like asking whether he liked the dress you wore after waking up for breakfast together the next morning? (ie, irrelevant to me). IP: Logged |

Irrelevant to you, but some people here are trying to understand transiting planets and the nature of their meeting at the time. Regardless of whether it's "after the fact" the point is to study and learn at that given time. So therefore, please give me some astrological insight related to the topic (as indicated by my question) before you jump the gun with your "irrelevance" which is REALLY irrelevant to my thread.@Coffee - Thanks! Does that mean I need to observe the planets and where it was positioning in my natal chart on that day? What kind of aspects on the composite would determine stability? IP: Logged |

Yes, look at the transits to your natal chart on the day you met. I'd also suggest looking at transits to the composite on that day - look at 1st ruler aspects to itself. That's if you have birth times for both natals.IP: Logged |

I still have the first meeting chart of when my fiance and i met 3 years ago, and yes, it's the exact chart, as it was planned online since we met through a dating site. I remember walking to meet him at the location and looking at my watch and going, Oh I am SO looking at the first chart for this later lol. My main observation for first meeting charts has been that fixed signs for the moon of the chart and for the rising are great for longevity (of course this is general, but I've just seen more charts with it). My synastry with our first meeting chart totally floored me - the asc of the chart conj my 7th house...in fact, the 1st and 7th house axis were totally aligned. The moon of the meeting chart conj his 7th house almost exactly. There was some stuff going on with the vertex but I can't remember (have to go dig up the chart from my other computer). In general in synastry we also have an exact Vertex/NN conjunction. I think there was a South Node/Venus thing going on as well that day, from his natal to the meeting chart. In general, there was a Mars/Venus conj going on but I wouldn't attribute anything to that alone tho it helps some, esp since it was conjunct his South Node and widely conjunct his vertex I think it's good to look at what's going on with the solar arcs as they will show in your chart external events often (the hard aspects, including minor ones), even more often than transits sometimes. The Jupiter/5th house connection you're talking about makes a lot of sense too since it's like a repeated pattern from chart to sky IP: Logged |

I would love to post it up, but I don't have it on this computer. I have to draw a new one up and I am actually not sure about the time now I'm going to try though!!!!EDIT: If you get a chance, put up your chart too and I'll see what I can do. I think like the first time anything synastry is important. First kiss, first date, first night sleeping together etc.... it will say something, imo. I remember there was a full moon in Pisces on the first night fiance and I 'stayed the night' together, and I feel it really reflects our intimate nature (we both have Neptune in the 7th house lol), his sun/moon midpoint and venus/mars mp is in Pisces. It's kind of interesting how astro takes on a theme IP: Logged |

Here are both our charts: http://imgur.com/a/t4pxk The Magi would go gaga over his transits. Mine not, no so much. Him: tVenus was conjunct nChiron in Gemini. tChiron was trine nVenus. Other transits (transiting vs natal): Him: Sun square Pluto Sun trine NN Mercury trine Jupiter Mercury trine Uranus Jupiter trine Venus Jupiter opposite Moon Jupiter trine Chiron Uranus trine Mars Chiron opposite Moon Chiron trine Chiron Me: Mercury square Jupiter Venus opposite Jupiter Venus opposite Uranus Jupiter square Jupiter Jupiter conjunct Part of Fortune Neptune square Jupiter Neptune trine ASC Pluto opposite Chiron NN square Moon Part of Fortune square Venus Chiron square Jupiter
My transits look kinda ugly, but I had a few good things going on that day . tVenus was conjunct my MC and out of sign conjunct my Chiron. Pluto was conjunct my IC. tNN was conjunct my 5th house. tJupiter, tChiron, tNeptune were also in my 5th house. Leo Sun was in my 11th house. For him, tPluto was conjunct his 5th house, tNN conjunct his 6th house... tVenus and tMars were in his 10th house... tMercury conj nMoon. Quite possibly, tMoon was conjunct his IC. Not sure because I can't change the time for his transits. All in all, I really did meet my soulmate and best friend. When we first met, I felt like I had known him for a very long time. He's changed my whole life for the better, and I wouldn't have it any other way. IP: Logged |

Very nice chart! Your progressed moon too going over the MC is a pretty big deal I think. Wish I could see your solar arcs. For progressed I usually only look at the moon and the angles only because the other stuff moves sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slooooooooooooooowly so it's like pulling teeth to see what's going on lol. Also, Elizabeth, I don't think your transits look 'ugly'...I think Uranus/Venus definitely brings out some sutff, makes things happen IP: Logged |

Oooh this is an interesting one. Back in 2008 I met someone my cold-cold saturn fell in love with, lots of melodramatic crap has gone on and nothing ever happened but I feel special looove for him. Anywho, when we met, I had Jupiter conjunct my 7th house Sun. I have a sag/cap cusp descendant and Jupiter is in my 7th house. He had Jupiter conjunct his natal Venus/Jup conjunction (don't know the birth time, he has Sun/Moon in Sag). In composite, transit Jupiter was conjunct composite Jupiter. I just noticed, composite Mars was super activated that day with transit Neptune/Chiron/N.node on him, transit Mars/Venus/Mercury trine him. Neptune is exact sextile composite Sun. Neptune doesn't do much in our synastry though. Also, Pluto had just jumped on my desc axis. He is on my sun and this guy's venus now. It doesn't get exact for another 2-3 years but it ruins everything sweet Jupiter tries to create between us. I made a lot of personal/professional contacts that day and during that period. Guess, Jupiter does bring luck.

Starry, its soooooo funny that you started this thread. I was going to do the same thing yesterday!!!I know the exact moment my boyfriend and I first met. The funny thing about it is that the same moment I met him I also met another guy. I ended up dating one but,I did have romantic relations with the other guy as well. Our first meeting chart has a double t-square. One for one guy, one for the other I assume. Moon is in Gemini (the sign of dualities). Sun in Libra (another sign with 2-sides). Lol. Sun, Mercury, and Saturn in the 6th house, I met them both at work because it was their first day!! The good thing is mars and venus both in the 7th house. =) Bad thing, the chart is filled with squares and oppositions. I'll post the chart later.

Nice topic Starry!! I have no clue when I first met my husband because we were friends first, for 8 years. I do have one fated meeting which was pure magic. This 'relationship' then only lasted 4 days because I had to travel back home. But after 14 years we were back in each others lives (still long distant and married). It did a lot to both of us, spiritually, emotionally, mentally etc.. It was 19 years ago. I met him at a club called 'the mission' and I felt it before it happened. T. Saturn was exactly squaring our suns (suns are opposite), karmic I'd say. T. Mars (my 8th house ruler and pr Desc ruler) conjunct my Ascendant T. Venus (ruler of his Desc.) conjunct his Mars T. Venus square my Moon T. Pluto (ruler of his Asc.) conjunct Neptune (ruler of his IC) T. Neptune conjunct his progressed Sun T. Mars (ruler of his 5th and progressed IC) conjunct his progressed Moon T. Neptune (ruler of my Desc) conjunct my progressed Moon T. Neptune opposing my progressed Sun T. Mercury (ruler of my Asc.) square my Pluto T. Neptune trine composite Venus (and Pluto/Sun) T. Sun was conjunct Pluto and their midpoint was conjunct our composite Moon (which is conjunct Neptune 6 orb) T. Pluto conjunct composite Neptune A lot of Neptune, it was dreamy and like a fairytale. And, a lot else. Funnily after 14 years, when T. Uranus was almost squaring our suns, conjunct composite Mercury and opposite composite Venus/Sun/Pluto it all came back and the tie was still there. I don't know if all relationships have these hits. It depends what theme the relationship has I guess. We agreed before coming here that we would help each other solve our issues. I grew a 'better' person because of this and he did too. Could never been done if we had married. IP: Logged |

When I 1st met my husband I had tVenus,tMoon conj natal Jupiter and tJupiter conj natal Venus. Also had tPluto exact on natal Moon and tSaturn on natal NN. Those were the only significant transits at the time. IP: Logged |
