Hi Ami, good question I have a gem merc and venus like you. I once was with a guy with a gem mars. He was a pisces. He'd act very interested one minute, and very cool and aloof the next. He had an aqua venus. But the sex was HOT!!! he had so much energy and never took his eyes off the goal/prize if you know what I mean He really went for it. IP: Logged |

I hav mars in gemini in 8th house which squares my venus in aquarius.Im very intelligent as far as conversations. Girls constantly tell me how well i can converse without talking bout sex (like most guys do). When i set my eyes on a goal i tend to go after it with full force thankfully of my 8th house that im blessed with. Overall ppl refer to me as a laid back intelligent and funny guy. (small time comedian) i talk before i think which leads me under the rock of being blunt(as sum ppl call it) i just like to see it as honesty. And when u think about it..it really is honesty to a certain degree . Im also and excellent txter. I can have the most intwresting convos when i txt and say cool things upon first meeting sum1. But overtime, if nothing else is left to learn bout the individual, then i tend to get bored. Overall im observant and truly feel warm an confident when i teach ppl and express my knowledge on a particular ubject, and when ppl actually laugh at my jokes. IP: Logged |

they're all about the short and sweet. nothing annoys them more than you talking on and on, or writing forever. they're all about one liners. and they're very picky with their words, because with one word they say what others would in a whole paragraph or book. with gemini mars make your words powerful make it short if you can make it like a puzzle, great debate with them

[/B][/QUOTE] idon't mean long or short talks. let's face it, a quicky debate?....not exactly satisfiying. but some ppl are redundunt, or talk forever, with out saying anything. a gemini mars would become very annoyed at that also giving them a chance to talk, if you're just going on and on, they're going to want to interupt you. sorry i didn't mean to say they don't like long discussions. just making the most out of your words, in a short period of time= gemini mars

^Are you a Gem Mars? What you just described could also be Aries Mercury. Communication is Mercury's domain. Mars is working style, fighting style, how physical energy is expressed. IP: Logged |

maybe my aunt has aries mercury. long debates are not her style. she has a quick wit, refuses to let anyone else talk, funny, raises her voice every so often, but she's not a debater (which i think is key with mars gemini). she doesn't like long talks either. and she just kind of throws her words around without a ton of consideration. i think they differ on some very fundimental things, although i'm not saying i can't see similarities yeah, my mars is gemini IP: Logged |

Have you ever read "The Astrologer's Handbook"?It says Aries Mercury is "fond of debate and argument." Other than that, your isolation of her Mercury sign matches what the rest of the passage says. IP: Logged |

I can relate to what you're both saying; Mars in Gemini (12H) and Mercury in Aries (11H). The way I tend to communicate (well, the way people usually receive me) is argumentative and combative. To me though I'm just speaking normally. I have to be extra-conscious of the tone of my voice, volume, speed - and this is where I see a little Geminian tendency. In the details such as described. This is one of the problems I am starting to have with astrology: I was reading "The Astrologer's Handbook" and could see how the descriptions for aspects and placements that AREN'T in my chart - natal or progressive/progressed - actually DO describe me. Also, my ex and I have completely different astrological makeups, but are the same Myers-Briggs personality type.Fun idea to play with, but ultimately I can't buy it. IP: Logged |
