I've read frequently that Gemini rising can give the native a "youthful" look - how that plays out, I can't solidly define but in my mind I chalk it up to looking younger than you are or babyfaced. In any case, I know this guy with Venus in Gemini and he hangs out with 17, 18 year olds. It suddenly occurred to me Gemini might cast a youthful effect like this in other placements besides rising. So is youth a prominent Geminian trait or is this a coincidence?IP: Logged |

i do tend to look younger than i am....i had always blamed it on my capricorn placements because of the "reverse aging" thing that caps got going on------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

I think Caps reverse in attitude and not necessarily looks, but it's an idea. And yeah Gem risings to tend to look younger, but what about Venus in Gemini? They like being friends with younger people or tend to be?

Yes! I have gemini rising, mars, and venus. I look like 10 years younger than I am, people, and especially boys are shocked when I tell them how old I am. I am very comfortable hanging out with younger people, and am usually attracted to younger men IP: Logged |

I think there's specifically one he's interested in. Meh. Sure, he's an easy guy to be around but that's a little too "unique" for my taste. OH he also has Gemini rising too though, so I bet that just exacerbates the whole "youth" thing. IP: Logged |

17-18 certainly don't qualify as "children." Ephebophilia is attraction to young adults (15-19). Pedophilia is attraction to children (before puberty).Gem Venus might prefer younger partners, certainly. IP: Logged |

See I have Gem rising and Mars in Gem too. I like younger people if I'm looking for friends and not serious attachments. I notice I like someone I can teach. IP: Logged |

I can't remember his age now... but when you mentioned this previously, I remember thinking that -actually- he's not that old and they are not that young. Isn't there like a 4 year age gap or something? Or is it wider? Maybe I misunderstood. IP: Logged |

6 years, he's fixing to be 24. @amowls - I know they're not that young or anything. I'm just very Saturnine lol. I don't judge him as friend for it, I just don't understand I suppose. Speaking of all of it I remember now he had an older looking woman flirting with him too. He's all over the place! IP: Logged |

I don’t find this that strange to be honest. 5/6 years is a very common age gap in relationships. 15/20/30 yrs – are considered taboo age gaps. But not 5 or 6 years… I’m sure there are many 18 yr olds out there dating 23 yr olds. He’s only turning 24 next August (if he’s a Leo) and by then those girls will turn 18/19. I’m not trying to start a debate with this – I’m just surprised that you’re so critical of it… as though he is doing something morally wrong. IP: Logged |

well, betty, to be politically correct (god i hate that term, lol) hanna did admit that it bothers her because of her saturn influence and that they'r not "that young"------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

I only saw that afterwards Nicky lol Looking at the posting times I should've seen it earlier.. but for some reason her last post didn't show up on my screen :\I wanted to add though - I'm 25 now.. but up until the age of 22 I was very set on ONLY dating men my age. I read interpretations on Capricorn DC and Capricorn Moon which foretold I'd end up with someone much older.. and I used to *laugh* thinking NO WAY! My Pisces best friend dated a guy who was in his 40s when she was 19 and as much as I tried to be understanding on the outside.. I was kind of critical of their relationship. But later I fell in love with a man who is much older than me.. and it completely changed my mind set. It's all about personality - and not age imo.. I've been through many things in my life and so has he.. and we have a lot in common. I think people forget their age-standards.. when they are in a situation where they actually fall in love with someone's mind/personality&appearance... and only later find out the person's age (which might be younger or older than expected) At that point they realize age is just a number. Most people have an experience like this imo ^ IP: Logged |

I have Gemini Mercury conj Venus... And Venus is my chart ruler. I'm not very attracted to younger men (of course, I'm only 23, so who knows in the future), but people do treat me like a kid. I always get cute nicknames i.e. my coworker called me Koala because she says I snack all the time and look like "a little koala bear", and in high school, people used to tease me like you would tease a little kid. I would get pats on the head, little tickles here and there, and people ALWAYS said that I look cute... never sexy or attractive. I'd get the rare beautiful and pretty every once in awhile, but I was always called "cute"... the kind of cute you give to a little girl. I don't even act like a kid - I'd usually snap back and say something awfully crude - yet everyone wants to say "awwww" and cuddle me like a teddy bear. Hell, if you're friends with me on FB (some of you are), you can see one of my statuses where someone literally compared me to a KITTEN.Direct quote: "Your like a kitty... Too small to find and way to cute to care Bout the bad things" I suppose Cancer Sun also gives me a more cherubic face. I was actually thinking about this today... I really need to shed this whole "cute" impression. IP: Logged |

True, Venus could signify traits you go for, but yours is connected to your ASC, not your DSC, so it makes the energy more about you than the other. Possibilities here are you're charming, have a nice voice, you're youthful, maybe you're a good writer or an easy conversationalist, you like witty people, funny types, or making others laugh, want a partner to admire your mind, maybe an intellectual looking person, maybe they're well-read, or curious changeable types, maybe you love a man's hands, or their arms (ruled by Gem/Merc), etc. So look to the DSC and also your Sun.Mars for more info on your partner, by sign, house, and close aspects.IP: Logged |

If it is illegal for two people to have sex (due to being underage) - then they shouldn't.. because at least one of them could potentially get into a lot of trouble. They can have a relationship though or a friendship. There are no laws against this.I think emotional maturity depends more on life experience - rather than age. But I agree that it depends on a case by case basis. Some 20-something year olds have had more character-building and emotionally strengthening experiences than some 40-something year olds. quote: It would depend on the couple involved and if their love was sincere or not.
True! Although, I was thinking maybe this is always the case in any relationship. People tend to suspect relationships where there is an age gap - more than others... But the kinds of superficial situations you mentioned like being with someone for their money or taking advantage of a person & being overly controlling/possessive - could occur in same-age relationships.
