i'm hoping someone could tell me if 2012 is going to be any better. i hope its positive, but if its not, i'd like to know too, so I can brace myself instead of fall into a terribly deep black hole like i did this year from April - June.

So far,Uranus conj Sun has proved to be quite exciting,especially professionally,but it carries certain demands,it wants from you to step out of your comfort zone,to take a plunge,180 degrees twist. You have natally Sun sq Uranus and Uranus trine Jupiter,so this shouldn't be too hard for you. Along with Jupiter return... What do you do? If I understood correctly you are freshly graduated,so I suppose you haven't been working on something,so it could be good time to start something long-term career-wise that could show some fruits during the Jupiter over MC period.
Mars on the Asc will make you active,assertive,vital,so we also have good grounds for starting something new. Mars is also squaring nMoon so I am thinking it could be period of strong divide between you and surroundings,circumstances may ask from you to step up and you want to retreat in your shell and just stay there until new,better tides come along,you may be easily irrascible and defensive. I know for a fact death is not the end. We can also rejoice in knowing that our loved ones no longer toil in these bodies of ours.

We can rejoice knowing that this person has merged with us for eternity while also knowing that they have moved on and left us behind to follow later.

I work for a human rights organization and in a month I'll be heading back to the country of my birth, specifically a conflict zone, to do research for my work. Perhaps I'll be struggling with my surroundings there? or it could continue to be emotional...

in any case, whatever this H8 casues (lost of your father, any emotional losses, but also thourghts of death with mercury there) just try to find the flame in yourself. as somebody mentioned before, in times of trial, we need to find the strenght inside. when desperate, take some minutes to breath and visualize an inmnese flame coming from inside. this will help to energize when down

unless the moon represent the nurtuning person in your life. even if your father? or maybe the emotional hopes from the 11 house are shattered when transiting the 8th?
