Topic: Caps, how was 2011 for you?

I have a bunch of planets in cap, and I read at the start of the year that all capricorns' psyches would suffer an attack in the meadle of the year. Indeed, I had depression and panic attacks. I have a cap friend that had this same thing.I would love to know how was the year of you caps, and if it may has something to do with the psyché asteroid... IP: Logged |

good post...It was actually a positive year for me, kind of a turning point because things were rough and static on all front in 2010. In 2011 I feel/felt like I am/was finally back in the game, in charge of my life. the summer was rough though since I had to move for a new job with no start up money (zero savings). Saturn was squaring my mercury and sun, and I definitely felt it! Mercury, sun, and mars are in Capricorn, 3rd house. Pluto has been sitting on top of my natal mars and boy do I get involved in power issues...I get ANGRY as this transit says.
Now sun is conjunct Pluto and conjunct my natal mars...I don't fully know how i'm experiencing it. But overall, this has been a good, satisfying year. Hope 2012 gets better for all Caps! IP: Logged |

My brother is a Cap (b. 1-3-77) he's had a trying year. He's now feuding with everyone in the family. I hope he gets better soon, I love him and I miss him.IP: Logged |

No depression or panic attacks but I was really stressed out around Halloween because I was cramming for a licensing exam I'd been working toward for a while. Libra Moons that I know had horrible dark depressive periods during the Saturn in Libra transit to their Moon. Looking forward to 12-21-2012.  IP: Logged |

I had a lousy year, especially on the career and wealth front, but I am thankful everyday for my bountiful blessings.as far as depression, I am perpetually depressed, and have been all my life. So nothing's different. My Venus is in the 12th House, as is my Saturn, and my Chiron is in 1st. IP: Logged |

Since pluto tapped me the first time...I went from having a hellish year, to having a nicer year, to almost full recovery...back ground info: chain smoker - haven't smoked in two years Learned so much about partnerships...completely became enthralled with psychology and astrology and alchemy and symbolism and dreams...for the better of me...refined my personality... able to accept my opposites
made strides on the path of individuation that being said i'm still sorely depressed but I cope and it's turning into a strength..it gives me tenacity and long term vision...and i'm able to now take slights from others and defend without hurting them and perpetuating negative karma. IP: Logged |

2011 was technically a bad year with friends moving out, breaking up with the person I love, conflicts with my father arising; yet it was a very enriching learning experience & it helped me grow much as a human being  I'm not too good with transits so I can't say much about that. Stellium in 12th house and Libra moon. And yes, the bad times very definitively started from sometime around June end-early July. ------------------

Most of the years of my life were horrible, filled with depression & nothing I consider important happening, but this one was a particularly weird year, with a horrible ending...especially the last couple of months, they were hellish...IP: Logged |

Perseus had a shield
and perseus had a special armoryou just need to find your shield and armor until it's done...it can be in the form of a therapist, in the form of a gentle medication, or in the form or an art or something...just hold in there and try new things...and be the first one to let go of the pluto rubberband..the first person to let go of the powerstruggle is always the winner and savior of the other... i'll send you love hugs. Thanks, man, that was a nice & meaningful post...  My problem is that I really do need a shield, but I'm somewhat contradictory - very sensitive, but likes to walk around without a shield...Art, oh yes, I hope it saves me, the only thing that can make me happy is music, it never betrayed me...I hope one day (still), I'll be able to give back everything it gave to me, in a form of an album I'll make... I'm a Cap Rising. Panic attacks started earlier in the year. Depression hit me some time in the summer and hasn't left me. My career is non-existent, as well as my love life. Home life isn't quite stable. My health has been better. With panic attacks and depression, severe stomach pains started over the summer with no explanation. Oh, and I feel abandoned and rejected. Also, I don't think I've had mental clarity since last year before I had a brain infection. Yep, as Pluto gets nearer to my ASC everything seems to be looking up.  IP: Logged |

I'm a triple Capricorn. But then it's in the bigger planets...Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. A good chunk of people have this from 89-90 I believe.But it does show as my most dominant zodiac sign. (I have Venus and Mars in house 10 too) 2011.
Been getting more work and hours.
Yes that is good...but sometimes annoying...at times felt like relaxing is/was difficult. Had some burn outs...in the summer, and Christmas break. My new friend even asked me today, "if babysitting makes you unhappy, why do you do it?"
I couldn't believe she cared. My parents are workaholics and usually don't take me seriously when I say I'm burned out. (baby boomers I tell ya) but luckily today the parents of the kids I babysit, told me the old babysitter wants to come back...so that should take a load off me. (cause I usually get p!ssy when she wants me to come extra days) This year has been good other than that. Done some cool things. I got to stay in a cabin again, the 2nd half of my summer was very busy, work, and staying out late with friends. some other highlights
Went to a big Halloween party
Went to my first Pure Romance party yesterday.
And I'm going to a huge New Years party tomorrow. Woot-woot! Also I've enjoyed being single. Last year I got out of a bad relationship. (I remember reading a Capricorn horoscope somewhere saying cappy's will enjoy being single.) This year was way more peaceful than 2010. But yeah I really felt like a Capricorn this year...cause I worked hard and partied hard. And I never got to be lazy for too long. I stereotype Cappy's as the most un lazy sign of the zodiac. i have like lots of stuff in cap. 4th house with uran/merc/nept/satu/ven/sun/ I'd say this was a year of firsts for me! crazy year. Interesting. I don't think it was horrible. Only thing really horrid is i got pimples (i've never been a pimply person so this really has me crazy) on my face in june and they are starting to subside a bit now...And I've been depressed for a long time now! HAH! Oh and i've become so apathetic that i've stopped caring about religion. So im ending the year on a very apathetic disposition also im sick. (i have a cold T_T)IP: Logged |

Well....lets us just say I will not miss it too much.It has been the hardest year I ever had. I have Sun & Asc in Cap, 12th stellium with Jupiter in Sag and Mercury&Neptune in Cap and Saturn in 10th. It started in 2010 with Pluto squaring my Moon (stll does) and making himself comfortable in my 12th - troubles in my personal life, conflicts, break up, June 2011 being brutally and unfairly fired. 2013 Pluto will move to conjuct my Sun & Asc and therewith oppose my Desc...Perfect timing as it will coinside with my Saturn return. I learned some things the hard way and looking into my chart and transits it seems to be just the beginning. EDIT:

Hi AllI'm Cap Sun/Mer, Cancer Moon (though some sights say I'm Gemini?? feel more like a Cancer though) Virgo Rising, Aquarius Venus New to Lindaland and has in the last year started reading about birth chart and all and know very little in terms of transits so please bare with me. I have been studying in 2011 and achieved alot in terms of learning experiences but failed in terms of relationships. As a Capricorn, when we do something we tend to focus so much on whatever we are trying to achieve that we loose focus on other people around us. For me I think this can be a curse sometimes. I guess my fellow classmates are trying to tell me, that I am too hardworking as they are tend to be more laid back. Friendship at College went from good to what one of my friends calls it as 'Frenemies'. Trying to rationlise to myself that I'm putting all this effort in for my future still doesn't help. I did receive a few study awards for high achievement but wonder was it all worth it. The irony was when they needed help, I'm usually the first they approach for advise. Romance wise, I met a guy early in February during this course, he is Scorpio Sun, Cancer Moon, Capricorn Venus and I think Sagittarius Rising (judging by his love for travel and characteristic). I sensed he showed some interests but at first I hesitated and put up a wall but as I got to know him, I found that I liked him too. Two months later, he announced he had to go overseas to work, I was extremely disappointed at myself for not saying or doing something. But, you can't rush a Capricorn, just hate myself for taking so long at making decisions. I have tried contacting him a few times through email shortly after he left. He did reply out of courtesy but took a while. I thought he didn't seem interested anymore so I turned my focus to study. Recently realised that he is back home and so sent him a quick hello message, he replied. I sent him another one and haven't heard from him. Maybe its a guy thing, a Scorpio thing ( sorry no offence to Scorpio's) or whatever it is. I also seem to find myself being attracted to Scorpio guys (as I've read due to my Mars in Scorpio). I really feel like a total failure. I am so looking forward to a new year and new start and hope that I've learnt from this year and always keep an open mind to opportunities in future.
