Hi ladies and very few gentlemen. I have been fascinated by Mars in almost every sign of the zodiac except for Pisces. I don't know why, but it's like I've forgotten that Pisces even exists. So, can any of you describe your experiences with Mars in Pisces, whether it's natal or someone you dated (especially someone you've dated)?

I know one intimately. He is an expert in the art of passive-aggressiveness. This did not create a favorable dynamic with my Mercury in Sagittarius, which has no patience for that. Also, he has a VERY high libido. Hmmm... what else... he said the best sex he ever had was with a Mars in Gemini, but they also fought like crazy too.

I have friends with Mars in Pisces, they find it hard to get into action, always late, disorganized, it would be unfriendly to call them lazy, but that is how it comes across. They are both artistic, one is a writer and the other a painter. They have a good fantasy, but make the worst managers.

Romantic, sorta dreamy in expression, not macho types, fluid sexuality, seemed easy to seduce is what I mean by that. Almost too easy. These are the ones I dated.

This sounds a lot like the one I was with.

Edit: The only thing different with the one I spoke of is that he isn't always late. In fact, one thing his friends appreciate most about him is his reliability: if he says he'll be there, he will BE THERE. This is true despite his having very low Earth.

When he plays sports, he favors the passive tactic as well. This sometimes annoys his teammates but he is actually one of the more skilled players due to this strategy.

I'm trying to remember the word I was using to replace "lazy" the other night, but I can't. It sounded a little nicer. Energetically challenged, will have to do right now, because I'm only ever lazy when I'm very relaxed, depressed or sick. I've had problems with my energy for years, and tend to get sick in some form, easily.

I also can swing to the opposite end of the spectrum and have a lot of energy, though. I need to exercise right now - I feel the tension in my shoulders and the rest of me - but I also need to get ready to get out of the house briefly (never any parties on new year's - just to get some food and briefly to the bookstore or something).

Artistic, musically-inclined - being creative helps me to stay at least somewhat sane. Easygoing (used to be). I didn't kick when my mother was pregnant with me, I just turned and sent a little ripple across her tummy. I love the water, but I also love the earth (grounding). Exercise grounds me.

I am disorganized - I love things that help you to get organized, love the idea of ritual, but I keep missing out on things like Silver Ravenwolf's month-long clearing process.

Once I get in on something, though, it's hard to distract me. I need to keep going.

Since the Pluto sextile (transit), I'm more of a fighter. I have Mars trine Uranus/ascendant and prefer to find healthy outlets for the energy. I used to get all sorts of exercise and go swimming.

I'm lazy as hell (Mars in Pisces) unless I want to do something with my heart and soul, then I work my butt off until I get what I want done (Sun in Cancer).

I don't discriminate between the intellectual and the creative... Must be the Gemini Venus... I like ancient alien theory just as much as photography... but it has to be something I can really dive into and immerse myself into. I like to get lost in study and the unknown i.e. I'm not really into mathematics unless we're discussing the Mayan Apocalypse. I have good concentration skills in the sense that I can focus on one thing but at the expense of everything else that I should be focusing on.

I often forget that I have Pisces Mars. I call it the white filler space of my soul lol.

I have Aries DSC, so Pisces Mars rules my 7th House. I'm attracted to passionate, artistic, yet passive aggressive men . They all have a touch of the untouchable.

I have Moon/Venus/South Node in Gemini square my Mars, and an Aries Sun/mercury. I dive into all sorts of things, too. I was thinking more about action (painting and the concentration would leave me feeling like I'd exercised for hours).

Mars in Pisces is an interesting aspect and I was going to write about it on a blog.

People with mars in Pisces usually have Venus in Aquarius, not alawys, but usually.

Marilyn Monroe
Paris Hilton
Michelle Fifer
Bono
Tom Hanks
Mel Gibson
Elizabeth Taylor
Heath Ledger
Vincent Van Goh
Cindy Crawford
David Beckham
Ricki Martin
Elton John
and Michelangelo

all had mars in pisces.

We can clearly see that mars in pisces leads to the possibility of fame after death...as the sign pisces portends too in general with all planets - just look at the sabian symbols for pisces to see that this is common knowledge in astrology...

That being said, mars in pisces people are not all the same...what house is it in?

In the tenth...we see an emergin artist who becomes great later in life

with mars in pisces in the fifth we see the artist who rises to fame channeling his hate and anger into creativity...battling his battles in the fifth house...

in the tenth it would come later, as he would initially be uncertain of his career, and simply be going with the flow

in fact mars in pisces is really great at flow...and if they aren't, they learn...

we can also see that mars in pisces come across as mysterious in that they seem to be romantic, womanizing, or living in the clouds to some, and to others they inspire by words...if a gemini ascendant...or through the body, scorpio ascendant, or by charm, libra ascendant...

one thing is for sure...the sun plays a big role in how mars works...the energy for the ego part of mars - the conquering, winner, warrior, archtype...comes from the vitality of the sun...if the sun be in capricorn...then mars in pisces is perhaps ideal for management...

mars in pisces does run the risk of being choleric....or passive agressive, but most end up learning to be healthily assertive and then become the least violent most insightful peopel...they treat human relations as an art...

mars in pisces is pretty cool if you ask me...mars is in shallow water...so i can't see it being too uncomfortable. I hear that scorpio is deep....with a scorpio mars, which is supposedly the ruler...you would think that their would be more passive agressive tendencies...

ultimately mars pisces does have ups and downs in terms of energy...but aspects can alter this....afterall, bob dylan was a human electric generator..

I am for sure late and disorganized. I am reliable in the sense that I don't flake on my plans, but I am often late getting there. I do feel less lazy I think than a typical Mars in Pisces, because of my placement in the first I think. My Dad has the same placement in the first and is very lazy, though. So maybe it is my Sun in Sagittarius. I love being active, playing sports, am super competitive. Motivation is key, though. If I am not super motivated in what I am doing/have to do at any given time, I won't do it, or won't do a very good job. Procastination is my worst enemy. >_< I am getting better, but it is a daily struggle.

If you want a man that is going to stand up for you, mars in pisces is not the one. How do I know? Im married to one.

If you get disrespected, get ready to stand alone. FISH DONT TALK.

Also, if a salesperson calls, he wont say no. He will let them talk and talk. He will say let me talk to my wife first,
Me? No thank you, and i hang up the phone.

They are sneaky and annoyingly passive aggressive. My husband will walk right past me to send me a sometimes explicit message on facebook. We will be 3 feet apart, I swear to God.

Which leads to this:
For me, the only good thing about having
a mars in pisces man is they are so sexy in the bed. the sprinkle of feminity, and how they just know a womans body.

If we are having a problem, he will say something on facebook, like he will randomly say "Is it me?" and wait for me to respond, I ignore him. come to me like a
man. of course this will never happen.

This doesnt sit well with my sun and mercury in taurus...and my leo moon is disapponted. I like a strong, proud man.

But I love my husband!

^ word. The Mars in Pisces I was with could never stand up to his cousin & brother.

Of course, this is not exclusively Mars in Pisces. Mars in Virgo guys don't seem to be stand-up types either. Almost makes me long for a Mars in Aries or Leo!

I stand up for people. I'm more likely to stand up for others than I am for myself, although that's changed over the past few years. I guess knowing that Taurus was good for me in one way, after all.

Mars in virgo are more proactive and productive than Mars in Pisces though. You don't need to be really forthright and aggressive to pursue what you need to pursue.
I'm a virgo mars, and it seems alot of the celebs are virgo mars. I stand up for what I believe in, and I don't back down. I am not a push over, nor passive aggressive.

I think Pisces Mars is way too wishy washy, dreamy (all words/thoughts no action)), passive aggressive, manipulative for my liking. They're also sexual but don't have uh 'ability' to just go after what they want. Def not what I would consider a go getter in any sense of the word (which is a huge turn off)

No its not 100% of the time but generally speaking.
I believe no matter what else is in the chart, you can still sense mars in pisces. My husband's moon is in Aquarius, so it really makes me almost nauseous. Because on top of being passive, he is also dismissive. can we say *crickets*

Teasel-LOL yes i agree with you on that one.

Yes I miss that fire myself. No perfect man i guess.

I know a guy who was born the same day as I, except 6 hours earlier. He's very aggressive, stubborn, even cruel. Very full of himself... So it is possible to be a "manly man" with Pisces Mars. He's a Cancer rising... Mars in the 9th.

yeah, agreed, I stand up for people too...and have lost friends for it, not my loss though...

To be honest...mars in pisces is more likely to stand up for others than any other mars sign...

as far as standing up for themselves...mars in pisces tends to refine the ego, so it isn't as necessary...they don't see outward expression as standing up for themselves when it won't be affective even if their brock lesnar...plus...think of the thief...the thief doesn't overtly defend himself, but he'll cut you off from your supply line and steal your jewls before you can say babba ganooshma.

That's true, you do stand up for what you think around here. It's weird. My ex is also an Aries rising with Sun conjunct Mars like you. I guess Mars in Virgo is more assertive.

ElizabethO, its funny you said that. My husband and my brother have they same DOB, only two hours apart. My brother can be a complete jackass, and thats on his terms only. If confronted, he says he has to get off the phone, etc. but if hes in the mood, he will go at it with you. sag sun, and mercury in sag, sits in 5th house.

I think the energies of Pisces Mars is very dependent on your Sun and house placements, as stated by Chironrising above. Also, Venus and Mars almost always manifests differently between the men and the women. To have a masculine planet in a feminine sign isn't such a burden for me, especially since I have Cancer Sun, another masculine planet in a feminine sign.

For men, and I say this with complete speculation, I would assume that it's more difficult to integrate feminine energy into their chart, especially if it involves a masculine planet, because of societal expectations and pressures. Often, the less "manly" men that I know who are confident and assertive are also comfortable with both their ying and yang. Pisces Mars is such a weird combo... A extremely feminine sign with an extremely masculine (and aggressive) planet... Must be far more difficult for men with this placement to find equilibrium between being acquiescent, the archetype of feminine and being assertive, the archetype of masculine. I commend any man who has this placement and can still feel confident in his manhood, TBH.

I didn't like fighting, didn't want to hurt anyone, and found it easier to just avoid - disappear, if possible. (I'm not talking about people I'm close to, I'm talking about things like dropping out of school to get away from bullies, when I couldn't take any more.)

My dad laughed at me a little while ago, because I was so angry when I got on the treadmill, that I burned off more energy in the first five minutes, than I usually do that quickly. I was PO'd, and walking *fast*. No physical or artistic outlet, and I turn embarrassingly weepy and lately, self-destructive. Not good!

Huh. This sounds familiar. I guess that makes sense.
