Could you explain the differences between these aspects in natal?
How does the Venus/Uranus individual approach love&sex?
Can these people be compatible romantically - or are they ultimately too different?I'm asking this question in general.. and please feel free to share your experience with these aspects - regardless of the signs they are in!
But, more specifically - if someone wants to take a stab at interpreting this:
I have Venus in Taurus opposite Pluto in Scorpio. The guy I have in mind has Venus in Taurus opposite Uranus in Scorpio. How different would these oppositions be in terms of what we need&desire romantically?

I have both, so I don't know how to answer this. I want and need both a real connection to someone, but also need for things to not be so heavy all the time (Moon/Venus widely trine Pluto, sextile Jupiter, inconjunct Uranus tightly). I've had a bit to drink, so not sure how much sense I'll make (I have enough trouble with zero alcohol in my systeM). Had my first ever margarita tonight, at 36 years old. Do I know how to live large, or what?  I'm hardly ever attracted to anyone, so it's interesting when I have an "all systems go" response to someone. I haven't had that response to anyone really, since the one, that I first started getting to know some years back - the Taurus. Happy New Year, Betty.   IP: Logged |

These aspects carry great amount of attractiveness,we have Venus in aspect to outer planets,no ordinary love,in both cases.
But,Venus/Uranus is free lover and Venus/Pluto is the one and the only.
Venus/Uranus is very philosophical regaring love,very observing,when in love there is certain scientific interest. 'I want to know how it works.' There is narrow scope of what they like-excitement. Very indipendent,to the point you may start wondering is this really a relationship.
Venus/Uranus weaves the web but it is never in it,unlike Venus/Pluto.
With Venus/Pluto there is very raw,fatalistic side to perceiving love. And you don't always know the form it will take-Venus/Pluto even in easy aspects gives bit of a twisted love... Love that blossoms on dark grounds. Love that isn't always pleasant.

happy new year too betty!venus-uranus wants a friend type and they are attracted to eccentrics or just something different from what their norm was.. fine by me since ima slow mover having sun-venus in taurus.  i dunno if they really understand the venus plutonian tho. scorpio planets might help. r u possesive w/friends? noticed the females w/ venus pluto aspects can be. i am not. i have a minor aspect venus-uranus myself (i think a biquintile) but not as strong as my venus-pluto.. A common denominator is the capacity for change by demolishing the unnecessary and obsolete. Unfortunately for Venus-Pluto, Venus-Uranus will snap out of a meaningless routine (with Venus in Taurus, this might mean the relationship has ceased to bring in beauty, comfort, security, and sensuality and instead has become purely perfunctory) to begin anew while Venus-Pluto may be deepening and intensifying involvement as a means to get to the roots of a problem. I have both Venus square Uranus and Venus sextile Pluto, so it's probably a little difficult for me to give you a clear answer, but...My main perception would be that Venus/Uranus is very hands off (and because it's the opposition, he'll swing between wanting to be close and then needing a bit of independence/space), whereas Venus/Pluto is going to be more consuming and addicted to finding new depths in the relationship (you might feel a tug between feeling secure in the relationship and then feeling like you are losing some sort of 'control' and you'll try to bring back the loving feelings by reaching out to your partner to reestablish control over your own emotions). I can't decide if having both of these aspects in my own natal chart makes them cancel each other out, but I know that I tend to swing between wanting a really deep relationship and then getting freaked out when someone gets too close. I will then re-establish my independence somehow (taking more time for myself and my own interests usually), and I'll feel safe enough to return to the depths of the relationship. If the relationship feels too distant, I dislike that as well, and will then try to reach out in efforts to bring it back to an equilibrium. People who are either too clingy or too flighty freak me out. I hope I can find someone who is in the middle of those, because I tend to feel that I am in the middle as well. I have Mars Trine Uranus and Mars Trine Pluto in my natal. I assume Mars is more appropriate for me, but I could be wrong. I assume that the Pluto aspect desires a powerful intensifying relationship, while the Uranus aspect has a desire for variability. Of course, I may not know what I'm talking about.IP: Logged |

Personally, when I'm in love, I want to be around the other person 24/7, even though I have Venus-Uranus conjunct as well as a Moon-Uranus square...both aspects known for craving lots of space.It's like love is the trump card that overrides everything else in the chart. IP: Logged |

I have both in my natal chart. It makes things a little difficult for me in trying to figure out what I want romantically and how I behave. I go back and forth on wanting complete freedom and belonging to someone. Can't have too much of either or I become disenchanted. It's kind of like never growing out of the grass is greener type of situations. Uranus wants fun and spontaneity while Pluto wants undying love, devotion, and attention. Uranus dreams of the future and Pluto can be sentimental and will want to relive special moments and warm and fuzzy feelings. IP: Logged |

lol I have the exact same aspects, only with Venus sextile Uranus and Venus opposite Pluto. They give much of the same push/pull effect, only the Venus/Uranus usually wins and I end up deciding that the effort isn't worth it. Venus/Pluto gives me a dark, destructive edge, that usually doesn't show up in relationships that I truly care about, and if it does, it's usually when the relationship is on the brink of ending because the other party has hurt me in some way, and it's my last attempt to make them regret ever having crossed me :P IP: Logged |

You have it but it's a wide one and not felt as strong as a tighter one. I have this same problem with my Mercury at 18 Libra Square Uranus at 26 Capricorn.

Well. Uranus - Mercury i definitely feel, it's 6 degrees. Regarding Venus.. It's really heavy aspected with every single planet except for Pluto, so i am not sure. Yeah, I believe you feel it then.
That does sound like Venus square Uranus.
Because you're attracted to Uranian qualities, but at the same time, like to distance yourself and have a fear of commitment in a relationship.
So there's tension, which promotes the square. Unlike the trine I believe, where I am attracted to Uranian qualities and can naturally distance myself, yet be commited at the same time without effort. So there's the difference between the two IP: Logged |

I have both too I mean Venus sextile pluto and trine uranus
and I think when I like someone I tend to get obsess with the person, like I look at the person everytime and when he's around me I get so nervous...but at the same time I have this feeling of fear? when I feel someone is going to kill my independence and i won't be able to be "free" and do whatever I want, I mean spend time alone which I love, or do things on my own...that's how I think I live those connections.IP: Logged |

Wow, I totally feel the same! Venus trine Uranus (exact) and square Pluto. I might add, Moon opposition Uranus. I recently realised a pattern in my love life. I enter the relatioship phase only because I crave closeness, experiencing deep moments and frequent sex with my new partner, and when infatuation is over I panic and wonder: How did I get into this? I didn't want a relationship in the first place. I am trapped!

I have both, like teasel lol, a Venus opp Pluto and Venus trine Uranus (exact).Theres a certain push-pull pattern in my relationships (I'm young though, so I'm not as wise as I could/want-to be). It's like Uranus pushes and Pluto pulls. Could they be compatible? I think they could. I think both Uranus and Pluto are idealistic in different ways. IP: Logged |
