Have you ever been a long-term, romantic relationship with someone with whom you had a composite Grand Trine?
If so, what were its effects?

I'd imagine they'd be dependent upon the planets, signs, and houses involved, of course. The composite chart I'm looking at has a Grand Trine with:
* 1d Taurus Venus (conj) 2d Virgo Sun and (more loosely conj) 7d Virgo Chiron in the 4th House
* 3d Virgo Saturn at the very end the 7th
* 10d Cappie Moon in the 12th.

What have your experiences been?

Hmm. I had a Grand Air Trine in composite in my 1st marriage. We were definitely in love. It was a horrid marriage though, and lots of emotional/verbal abuse. I think we had other issues going on.....definitely.
The Grand Trine may've kept us together for longer.We are both earth signs, and AIR is prominent in both our charts - The composite had Uranus in the 7th (Eeeek), Saturn in the 3rd, and Mars in the 11th.

The moon in the composite was completely unaspected. Which I consider kind of crappy despite the grand trine...but I think in general it just was a bad relationship, and the grand trine did not help. Or maybe it helped to keep us together as long as we were.

Thanks, teasel

MyVirgoMask - I'm willing to bet that's the key - it provides a great deal of stability, regardless of other chart factors (or sometimes, in spite of other factors).

Interesting.

- My question - how was your synastry? If you have poor synastry with someone would that mean you just can't get along even if there is a lovely grand trine. Does the Grand trine make you feel things are better than they are? I know someone with an exact t square venus-Saturn- venus also this Saturn squares his sun (6 degrees) as well as his venus- I can't see it's ability to last. I feel he will suffocate. However, amor does conjunct their composite sun so maybe they have a chance.

In your relationship what elements broke it apart (no need to be specific) just general thoughts.

Then there is the other side, what if you have wonderful synastry with someone but a major dealbreaker (Uranus opposite sun) in composite. Could a couple outride this major bump or just forget it, friends only.

Thanks!
