A mixed bag.

His main significator is Mercury, which is in Sagittarius, and therefore very much interested in Jupiter.
Jupiter is your main significator. So it seems like he is very interested in your personality.

the natural significatore of men is Sun, and usually it is seen as highlighting more the sexual or procreative drive (I know that usually we associate Mars with sexuality; but for horary it seems that Sun is having this role. Maybe it is something that comes from medieval times, when the horary rules were written down).

Anyway, his Sun is in Capricorn, the sign of your (Jupiter`s) fall; additionally it is the detriment of your co-significator, Moon, which is highlighting your emotions.
These are definitely "minuses".

But his Sun in Capricorn also has the triplicity-connection to Venus, your natural ruler (as a woman).
Triplicity is the third strongest essential dignity; and even though it may not indicate a crazy attraction, it usually indicates a lot of affinity.

I say he might be interested in you, but am not sure how much he really connects to your emotions and how deeply he cares for you. (because of the weak and negative dignities of Moon).

arghh I want to answer this but I am sick today and about to go to bed Can I look tomorrow?

My main problem with this is that he's not doing much, and seems to be living him in his own head despite being very interested. The term 'Getting in your own way' applies here to him.
Will expand later.

Venus in Aquarius could either mean that you are not physically attracted to him or - and that seems more likely to me, from my own experience at least- that for some reason you are holding back. There is something that keeps you back.

Some astrologers consider planets in the house, that belongs to the querent or quesited, as co-ruler. Since the 7th house signifies him, they might treat Mars as one of his co-rulers. Yes.

I haven`t done this so far, but if Mars is indeed his co-ruler it doesn`t bode well for his attraction to you. As Mars is in the fall and detriment of Jupiter and Venus (your personality and feminity).

As for what I`ve read on that topic, it is mostly

Handbook of Horary AStrology by Karen Hamaker Zondag (she has a great book on houseruler-aspects as well)

Horary astrology by Erik van Slooten

And then I have been reading quite a bit on the blog on horary astrology bny NIna Gryphon and also on skyscript.

Yes but jupiter and moon are also in detriment to mars from my end, so that would seem to mean that i dont care for him (detriment is even worse than fall) and that is not true. So let's just leave mars out of it, I guess. It doesnt seem to be accurate.

As far as venus in aquarius goes, yes, that is definitely true. There are several things about him physically that hold me back, but they certainly dont hold me back enough, as i am still very attracted to him. It wouldnt seem that way, though, because the moon and jupiter are nit in reception to him from my end. In fact, there is no reception from me to his sexuality at all, but i am very physically attracted to him. The only thing there is is venus in aqua being in triplicity to mercury, just as his sun is in triplicity to venus. But i suppose that isn't good though because it is true it's his personality that makes me attracted to him, not his looks, but this would seem he is attracted to my looks but turned off by my personality, which would be terrible.

Also, the main significators are making a trine to each other and are in mutual reception, and the sun and jupiter are also in trine to each other. The moon and jupiter are both in opposition to saturn, though, which is worrisome. And the moon is square venus. At least it is conjunct jupiter.

I suppose this all means that he likes me as a friend, but not romantically, though he thinks i am pretty. But he doesnt even line me that much as a friend either because mercury is not even in reception with the moon, whereas i am in reception with it.

He does think that i am cool, though, but he doesnt care much. He definitely doesnt hate me, though. I am comparing this with an horary chart i did with someone who i had similar receptions with as he has towards me in this chart, and even though my main significatir and the moon were in the sign of his main significator, i didnt like him romantically even though i was somewhat interested in him as a friend, and thought of him often. But i didnt even care much for him. Venus was also turned off by his personality by fall in that chart (which was true bc the reason i didnt like him romantically is i was not romantically attracted to his personality.) So i think him being in my main sig's sign doesnt mean much other than that he thinks i'm somewhat cool and thinks about me sometimes.

Eager to read MVM's take on it, though.

Remember that in horary only applying aspects in sign count. So neither the Sun-Jupiter (Sun is separating) nor the Mercury-Jupiter-trine (out of sign) would count, as per traditional horary rules.

So having said that I am not sure I necessarily agree with that "in-sign" aspect thing.
I do definitely buy the importance of applying aspects though, as these indicate future development as opposed to separative aspect, indicating what happened in the past.

BTW I think having a reception by triplicity is a good thing, and not to be underestimated.

As for the detriment / fall-position I am doubtful if it really relates to antipathy or even loathing, as I have so often seen that this is not true.
But there always seemed to be a problem or a hesitance into giving in to an attraction or doubts about it in these cases, so it certainly is not a positive reception.

But I think probably it is worse to have no reception as all, as that would mean that the parties would not really notice each other, or are not affected by each other at all.

When you make the profile mark it as event, not male or female

Then go to free horoscopes, then click on Extended chart selection, select natal, and change the house system from default to Koch or Regiomantanus

I am sorry, RAS - I didn't see this again after it was posted, and I've been really sick the past 4 days, all funked out on cold meds. I will try to look at it when I feel better <3
