Erm...yes you can activate your own midpoints if you have a personal planet is aspect to it. They can also be triggered by transits.(and synastry)IP: Logged |

a planet that is conjunct, opposite or square the midpoint within tight orb (about 1°30, some would consider only orbs up to one degree, others allow two degrees) activates the midpoint. Some midpointastrologer also consider planets that are semisquare or sesisquare to the midpoint (with one degree orb). Harmonious aspects or other minor aspects like sextile, trine or quinkunx are not being considered.
The challenging aspects are preferred because they provide the necessary energy to really ACTIVATE a midpoint; the trine and sextile are too smooth to do that. IP: Logged |

Depends on which planets make the midpoint and how you deal with these. Saturn/Uranus-mp for example, if activated, can result in a lot of inner tension and stress, and seems to be active if things "disrupt", like a breaking up for example.

are there planets that are stronger than others. if so would those planets require less orb?edit: i meant to say would those planets allow wider orb, duh. stupid. IP: Logged |
