if not afflicted...which is dependent on not just apsects but nurture too...

then it simply means a man or a woman who can switch from feminine to masculine at a whim...

sometimes the feminine side is repressed in men...if venus is square saturn...the father may dissaprove of the feminine side...this is bad...it will cause mars to go way up and physical violence, scarring from stunts, etc...may occur..

With the other way..the other way.....the strict parent may supress the mars...and the boy may be overly effeminate and passive agressive....writting profanities on the wall about his adversary and suffer legal damage...

if it be a girl...the venus square may mean she is the oldest in a family of all ladies and she may be a tom boy...nothing wrong with that...but she may attract a pushover husband...or a sneaky one...

balance is key with mars conjunct venus...i have read that this means living life to its fullest...this is true...for we are the ones who experience both the passive and active states..

my current bandmate has venus conjunct mars conjunct sun too..but in aries in teh sixth...he is a hard working artist...talented, soft spoken, a kurt kobain type, but without the ego...very soft, yet can get hard quickly...assertive...a leader, but not a bullheaded jock...someone who has trasncended limitations....
