So I've been posting about this guy that I am interested in (Taurus Guy) but I wanted to delve deeper into this specific setup of our aspects. I've read that Double Whammies are so powerful that, even if the aspect would normally seem negative, it comes out to be a positive influence when reciprocated. In our case: Me: Sun: Pisces Moon: Scorpio Him: Sun: Taurus Moon: Virgo or Libra (birth time unknown -it is still considered an opposition even in Libra) Personal experience or observations everyone? Thanks in advance! ------------------ "You may say that I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one..." IP: Logged |

I don't have exactly that, but I'm:Pisces Sun Aqua Moon Scorp Asc and my husband's: Gemini Sun Saggi Moon Taurus Asc There're a lot of squares and oppositions going on there, but it's actually quite pleasant. (Well, more than that, really.) I'm curious to know what others have to say about your set-up. IP: Logged |

I kind of had this with one person: Me: Sag Sun; Him: Sag Moon Me Taurus Moon; Him Scp Sun We were really close as friends from the day we met. There was an attraction from his side. About a year after we became friends it turned into more. It was HORRIBLE. He was going thru some phase where he just wanted to have fun. We tired to save the friendship but for the 6 months after the "fun" part we were fighting everyday. Two years later, we are FB friends... that's it. IP: Logged |

Well, oppositions only work to bring people together. What happens after that depends on the rest of the stuff in the synastry and composite and also by each person's level of maturity, self-awareness and willingness to make this work. IP: Logged |

Oh I did not know this, thank you! It is so interesting all the different combinations everyone has.
Interesting: Angelina Jolie: Sun: Gemini Moon:Aries Rising: Cancer Mercury: Gemini Venus: Cancer Mars: Aries Jupiter: Aries Brad Pitt: Sun: Sag Moon: Cap Rising: Sag Mars, Venus, Moon, Mercury: Cap Jupiter: Aries -The only thing they have is that Aries fire energy. Everything else is squares and opposites. Of course Aniston is Aqua -a comfortable 'friend' (sextile) sign. Here I guess the differences are what keeps things going? Makes them 'work for' it? But I digress.. Here is my synastry with T.G http://www.astro.com/cgi/showgif.cgi?lang=e&gif=astro_61gw_02_01_sp_ko.77742.24660.gif&res=100&va=&cid=ir0fileTNlY5H-u1317405555 (I'm on the inside) ------------------ "You may say that I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one..." I have my sun (libra) opposite my bf's moon (aries) by a very very tight orb.We are very different people but at the same time it is appealing because I see it as things we can learn from each other. I believe our libra/aries opposition is more complementary than it is conflicting because what one person lacks the other has it is like a ping pong effect. IP: Logged |

Yes! That is what my Venus in Aqua wants! I just have to make sure the other person also wants this 'learning experience' lol ------------------ "You may say that I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one..." IP: Logged |

Yes, it should be a learning experience and you should cherish the good things you can learn from each other. Here's a good example - I think alot, I'm a Libra and I'm just always up in the air!! I lack action. Sometimes I think so much that I start making up stuff and it confuses me. Or...I start causing troubles for myself when I think even deeper and deeper in to an issue that's just really merely significant. At that time, my boyfriend would jump in and tell me "Stop thinking so much. The more you think, the more you will start creating problems for yourself. Don't over analyze things!!" Another example - My bf lacks Air in his chart. He's fire and water and earth. Being an Aries moon he IS impulsive - feel and do is his main thing. Sometimes he can be TOO impulsive with his actions (One example would be him saying some nasty/mean things to fellow female co workers he doesn't like) That's when I step in and say "Think before you speak. She is your co worker afterall, she's not going away. Do you REALLY wanna say stuff like that to complicate relationships with her when you know you will have to work with her for a LONG TIME?" There you have it. I'm sure you and your guy can talk about it and most importantly - even though you guys are opposites, maintain the respect both ways and appreciate each other for whatever you guys can bring to the table/can do for the relationship. My friends always say I think too much lol "On the OTHER hand..." ------------------ "You may say that I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one..." IP: Logged |
