how are twins so different. i remember reading that it's because they're not born at exactly the same time so their asc would probably be in different signs. not giving it much tought i went along with it. but it's more likely that they do have the same asc than not...twins are usually born minutes appart so they'd have a fairly identitical chart. where's the loophole here?IP: Logged |

A few minutes is enough to change house cusps a bit which can dramatically alter how things are for a person. I think twins are a perfect example of how astrology is working with energies and you can utilize the energy in your chart in different ways. They are also a good example of the effects of society on one's path i.e. the older twin must be the leader, or there must be a dominant and submissive twin, or a loud/extroverted and a quiet/submissive one. I think there it comes to freewill and you choose to express yourself and what roles you choose to fill.------------------

"free will eh? what about astrological reasons?"What I mean is if both twins have IDENTICAL charts as you're suggesting, I think, but behave differently it is obvious that it is just their choice to do so. I.e. if they are both Aries with Aries rising and have libra mars maybe one twin will choose to act more hot headed while the other will 'shoot from his mars' and utilize his ability to be diplomatic. They will have the same energies but choose to use them at different times. ------------------
