First, don't worry about other people's transits. You don't even know for certain if the Asc is accurate until it is validated. Look at your own to see what the dynamic is for you.
I had t.Uranus opp my Asc several years ago and was able to renew a functional relationship with my father and he was able to help kick start my work life by having me work with him a couple or three times a month. IF you have relational baggage, this transit can be disturbing or break up a relationship temporarily or permanently. If your life is relationally clear, then it can serve as a kick starter to get things going again with new people or in a new way with those who are still important to you.
It doesn't have to be a bad transit. Its all what you make of it. If you're carrying heavy karma, this transit can be disturbing. If you induce a powerful response in others, then you can expect this transit to hit you a little with some out of the blue surprises. The purpose is to shake things up a bit to start a new pattern in relationships.
My relationships with friends and women got activated as well during this time. They had fallen rutted and dull. During that time I also met my now wife in person (after we'd me initially online), and it didn't take long for our relationship to develop.
This transit can spark relationships quickly, but with some changes or off and on until things settle in. I moved back to Texas after meeting my wife here in Oregon, then moved back here after a couple months, then things settled down for us. Don't be bothered by that off-on phase, It'll work out if the relationship has solid values/basis.
In other words, the end results of what this transit (Uranus opp Asc) sparks for you will be dependent on the quality of 'vibe' or signal you are sending out directly to others, more than with just about any other transit. You may not be entirely aware of what you are putting out in this way, but you will become aware of it. Just don't blame it on them when things don't go your way. Deal with it as you become aware of it in a way that leaves you more clear and more empowered.
