The example I gave wasn't a suggestion; it was an EXAMPLE of how 6th House inventiveness can lead to a transformation.

If you want to substitute "creativity" for inventiveness then I guess that works.

when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

what? nevermind, im not trying to substitute "creativity" for inventiveness. i was just saying thats what i correlate being inventive with, not with my routine or what i come up with to improve myself. i understood your example, but i dont think you understood mine. so nevermind

No I didn't understand what your point was at all except maybe to point out a synonym.

I was quoting an author and gave an example of how the energy commonly manifests.

Yeah, nvm.

@ BeholdAstarte

Yes Im always changing (I also have pluto in H7) and learning...

As for skills, I can learn things pretty fast, but I need some one the physically show me (mecury rx) for me to get it... Once I get it, I find short cuts to get to the same conclusion.

how would you say your jupiter plays out in your 6th health wise? do you love to indulge in yummy foods and would you say your health is typically very good and robust?

Yes and yes!

Also I think mine plays out more in wanting to help animals which is a Virgo/6th house thing too. My Jupiter in the 6th is exalted in Cancer.

Have Saturn (retro) conjunct moon in the 6th in cancer.

Unfortunately Cancer is also my 7th cusp as my 7th house also contains intraspected Leo

So I have the dreaded 7th in the 6th situation.

Why dreaded?

It is said that the ruler of the DSC in the 6th could indicate a partner with health issues or that your partner is also a co worker.

Someone (Coffee, I think) once said that the ruler of the 7th in aspect to the ruler of the 6th could mean no marriage, but I don't know about that.

I have a stellium in the 6th and it's one of the most difficult houses, imo. It's related to "crisis" because it's right between the personal and interpersonal houses, so it implies that you need to get your stuff together first and then enter relationships and get out in the world. So in that sense, "transformation" is not that surprising, because after all, if you want to change/improve, you do need to transform yourself/your environment.

I completely relate to this. I have a singleton Cap sun and Aqua Mercury in the 6H, ruler in the 12H.

No Virgo planets, but I'm like a Virgo with food & routines, and the more "Virgo" I get, the better I feel.

My sixth house is empty except for my North Node (in Taurus), which I generally think of as A Big Deal. Don't have as much time as I used to for astrology anymore but I think the house which houses your North Node is pretty significant, no? Any further info and/or links to sixth house descriptions would be appreciated!

interesting insight
i have sun moon conj in 6th in placidus, whole signs puts them in 7th though, so im not sure. but i feel like ive been in near constant transformation my whole life. i think its taught me the hard way that it is necessary to help yourself first before you can help others...helping yourself actually does in itself help others just by setting the example.
also in knowing yourself as fully as possible you are able to better know others, achieving better balance and harmony in relationships as a result.
the more complete the picture, the better the reflection is going to be

My powerhouse conj of sun and pluto almost exact fall here in libra, also saturn too though not conj, so ive got a stellium here. Sometimes I think this house is more misunderstood than the 12th. The descriptions are so simplistic and boring as to be laughable. I too agree that it is very transformational, its also analytical to the point where it almost "disects" everything inside it.

6th House has to do with improving things as well as healing. So does that equal "transformation"? Yes, I'd say so. At least it gives those Planets a good start to "make changes" for the better. It's not in a Fixed state.

I recently learned the rulers of my 2nd, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 12th houses are in my 6th house. I have 3 planets there (Mercury, Neptune, Uranus).

To be honest I’m still trying to work out what exactly this house is all about and what it means for me… I like having Mercury here since I think it really helps to ground the more expansive qualities of Sag- I can be very analytical and detail oriented when I need to be. Neptune and Uranus I’m not too sure about though. Even though I have a lot of planets in Cap I’m probably one of the most disorganized people ever lol. Maybe this is where the transformation comes in, it seems I have to put a lot more effort into staying organized than most people, but it’s a skill that I’m learning.

Same with health, I appear to be perfectly healthy, and for the most part I am, but if I do have health problems they are random and sudden, but usually end as quickly as they started. I never learned healthy eating or living habits from my family, and this is something I’ve had to learn on my own, and still have plenty to learn about. I love making my own healthy food and exercising regularly, but it’s difficult to keep a regular routine with this. I’ve recently started doing yoga though and don’t know how I never discovered it earlier. I’d love to teach classes eventually.

Anyway, I think this is a great thread, because the 6th house can be pretty confusing! I’ve heard both very negative and positive things about it…

Libra Pluto & Scorpio Uranus in 6th. Large placidus 6th house too, covers almost 50°.

This explains ALOT. Too much to discuss here, but inimical partnerships is right on. Detrimental to my work and personal health (over-stressed, weight gain, loss of personal power, etc) for sure. I miss being in a partnership, but feel I need to be single for my own personal growth & career progress. Not fair cause I really like certain benefits...

While single, I am almost obsessed with health and nutrition. Usually by researching different aspects and then forming my own routes and eating habits. I don't believe a single diet/workout plan works for everyone. It has to be customized to the person. If I were to pick a different career it would be as a personal trainer/nutritionist with a MD. Mostly because I don't believe many so called nutritionist have any idea what they are doing, they just re-hash old ideas and recycle fads after a number of years to make a quick buck.

Good links, think I need to learn more now. Use to just see it as "daily routine", which is something I find hard to follow, so I tend to overlook the 6th.

To me, 6th house is a pain.

First: Its empty, having no planets but NN with Aries on cusp.
Second: In matter of health gives me a lot of headaches.
Third: My life is pretty chaotic. I tend to fast things. i eat fast, I am always in a hurry, I do several things at the same time and with the ruler in 3rd house, also give me trouble at work. Cannot work with other people especially with people who can boss me around.

I have Jupiter in 6 H in Gemini. It is also my chart ruler. My health is great although when I'm really stressed I get stomach problems and acid reflex. And I suffer from anxiety when stressed as well.

Jupiter in 6 H has the potential to be a health guru. I'm starting to get into yoga after going on a 3 day yoga retreat.

And as far as work goes, I get along very well with co workers. Although I maybe too agreeable at times.
