Hi Guys, What is a difference between SR Chart and transit Chart? Basically I am looking for a "bird eye" view to distinguish a difference between 2 of the charts. In what cases transit will be used in what cases SR.IP: Logged |

I would look at both. I've known people who were into Astrology, and their solar returns didn't always seem to apply to them. Solar return outlines the next year till your next birthdate. Transits are for what's going on right now, of course, some are slow moving planets. Personally I like to look at all angles possible and look at transits within the solar return. So if I have Cancer rising for the year, and Sun is in Capricorn, transit wise, Sun is in my 7th. Most don't take it that far.IP: Logged |

Birdy, thank you But looking at SR and Transit chart can be somewhat confusing. As planets could contradict each other in T and SR charts. So Let me ask you a question: If I want to look at particular event which will happen let say in Feb 2012. I should look at transits, If I want to see the overall theme for 2012 I should look in SR chart? However, I read in One thread a reply by Coffee (I think he is knowledgeable in regards to astrology) that SR can not predict the future events Or the outcome of the future events. But what does give a glimpse to the outcome of the event (example utcome: favorable or not)? Transit for that particular day? Or Horary Chart? IP: Logged |
