I'm not sure if you truly mean "evil". Dark or being drawn to dark could be another way to put it. Sun conjunct mars in scorpio would be quite the intense aspect, and would allow you to possess quite an intense power (almost too much to handle), and it would require a frequent release in some way to keep functioning well). Further having it conjunct neptune is going to make that energy pretty hard to grasp and control at times.

sun-mars would give it an arian flavor instead of making it more plutonic no? sun pluto would do that.. i think.

Scorpio is known for having a guilt complex warranted or not. Which could make you feel like your desires are 'evil' especially if your environment or even the other side of yourself has particular rigid views.

I have a Scorpio Moon and Pluto conjunct in the seventh and Scorpio in the Eighth.
As a child I was SEVERELY repressed as far as girl-boy interaction (I once got in soo much trouble and really grounded for writing on a piece of paper that I liked this boy in church- wow)It made me feel that things having to do with sex, lust, love could be 'dirty' and if you desired or took part in them without it being condoned that you were 'evil'.

I also had a mother that was a Criminal Justice student and really into true case studies and Law and Order SVU-type stuff. To be an extremely sheltered and impressionable kid (12th merc in pisces) and yet be inundated with all of this dark and violent reality was VERY hard to process. It made me feel abnormal and dirty to be able to understand the psychology of people like that as a child. However, once you learn it you cannot unlearn it so you're stuck with that Scorpionic undertow of all things taboo and unmentionable.

For me I think that sometimes it's the KNOWLEDGE of how 'evil' or 'dark' things work that can weigh upon my psyche -but when sometimes it is not 'proper' to bring up and discuss these things I'm kind of stuck trying to deal with all that energy myself which can lead to me over-identifying with what I intuit versus how I really am. It's like you have those moments where you feel like the 'dark' of life has touched you and maybe you're tainted or something. I really do not feel overwhelmed in this way anymore, though, since I have started taking my 'personal power' for myself in life and really filtering psychic energy I intake.

People with a strong Scorpio influence have a natural attunement to the dark side and the 'evil' in everyone. I think that's what makes us so suspicious and makes it difficult for us to trust others sometimes.

I think the good thing for Scorpio people is to find the balance between good and evil, not only in ourselves but other people. Many Scorpios (especially the Lunar ones) grow up with this sense of polarization. Often times, one parent will be seen as 'the evil monster' and the other will be 'the perfect martyr.' For me, my stepfather was seen as totally evil and my mother, for the most part, absolutely good. But, now, I've become much more aware of the dark side of my mother that she keeps so carefully hidden. Recognizing the potential for 'evil' within her has helped me grow tremendously, as I've become much more in touch with the truth about her and our relationship.

Doing this has also helped me to integrate the dark and light within myself. I'm not afraid of my dark side and it needs to be acknowledged and expressed. But, not to the point where it becomes very destructive to the good, positive things in my life. Finding an outlet for the 'shadow side' is probably key; mine is my creative life. Becoming empowered by my dark side, without getting too overwhelmed by it, has helped me find a lot of confidence and courage. I don't waste my energy going from one extreme to the other: repressing the 'bad' side and experiencing heavy guilt over it or allowing it to wreak total havoc.

That's the journey for every Scorpio-strong person, I think. Balance is the key, which is difficult because we can be such extremists.

the89freespirit: Mother/father as dichotomy should be reflected in the luminaries, not Scorpio influence as a whole.

This was absolutely the case for me growing up (and I have a scorpio moon conjunct pluto). My mother was glenda the good witch, and my father was the wicked witch of the west. I am eternally greatful for my mother helping me through the tough times the best she could (my parents are divorced and have been since I was 3 years old). I was only able to see only good in my mom, and only bad in my dad.

Over the years though, I now see the bad sides of my mother, and learn through those. My mother and I are insanely close though. Always have been, always will be. I also see that my father is actually not a bad person, just wildly different from me in almost every way who went through issues of his own when I was young (I was just on the receiving end of many of them).

^^ Do you suppose your Sun/Moon opposition and aspects to them reflect that perspective?

Well, I said that because I was reading some of 'Healing Pluto Problems' by Donna Cunningham and she mentioned basically the same thing I said about the polarization of the parents. And it rung exactly true for me. It was actually kind of scary how accurate it was.

For me, since I have so many Scorpio and Pluto influences, it's difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins. But, I know that dominant planets/signs have a major influence over your life path, to the point where they may overwhelm some of the more singular placements. A dominant influence in the birth chart has a very powerful effect on the way you see life. Therefore, I think someone heavy on the Pluto might be able to relate to the good/evil schism when it comes to their parents, regardless of their Sun/Moon aspect.

By the way, my Sun and Moon are squared, not by exact aspect but my sign.

My sun is very unaspected (conjunct mercury, square NN), so it's hard to really judge what's going in with that.

My moon has very strong aspects to it though.

Growing up, my mom had WAY more influence over me then my dad ever did (or ever will have). As far back as I can remember, I have always trusted, believed, loved, respected, and listened to her 10x more then my father. Anything my father ever did or said fell on deaf ears. He just couldn't influence me. Even if he punsished me (which he did WAY more often, and more severely then my mom), it never changed my behavior. I simply got annoyed I was punished. I spend the vast majority of my childhood avoiding my father because when he forced his influences on me, 99% of the time it held me back. I got quite good at it.

Yes I can relate Pluto is my strongest planet plus my moon is in 8th. My mom was always the good one and I was terrified of my dad!
