To all the Scorpios, or people who know Scorpios well:Are you guys strict with your lovers? Meaning, when they do something you don't like, you will impose "rules" on them? Example from a Scorpio: Coming back at 2AM on a Friday night, DESPITE the fact that your S.O. texted you and let you know where she was and who she was with. Although she was late, she texted you to let you know she was late. Scorpio: 2AM???? That's too late!! Get back by midnight. If you come back after midnight, I will lock the doors on you. Also, you can't go out with XX. You can go out with AA and BB, but not XX. What do you think, Scorps? IP: Logged |

That's not strict. That's being controlling. And Scorpios are terribly controlling at times.IP: Logged |

Well, the SO was out drinking on a friday night with colleagues and XX so happens to be somebody whom you don't like b/c the last time XX was out with your SO he/she tried to make her/him drink too much.I'm okay with it because afterall, it's somewhat being protective. IP: Logged |

So, are we talking about a male colleague trying to get Scorpio guy's partner too drunk? Hoooo yeah, that's gonna make the average Scorpio see red. However, taking it out on you and threatening to lock the doors or dictate who you can hang out with is over the line. It's a red flag... I think you've got to ask yourself, if you stay in this relationship for a long time, is he always going to deal with problems by slamming down some ultimatum against you? I'm a Scorpio, and I wouldn't do that, simply because trying to control your partner like that is exhausting and usually doesn't work in the long run. I want to be a participant in my relationships, not a police officer. I feel like if I have to watch your every move, maybe you're not the kind of person I need to be in a relationship with. But some Scorpios don't have the maturity to take that kind of long view. Basically, I think his displeasure is pretty typical Scorpio, but the way he acts on it is heading toward the "less evolved" aspects of the sign. I also agree that this is potentially the signal of an abusive relationship. IP: Logged |
