The same Red, it means they didn't learn all they needed in the last life and have a chance to do it again.

i am a double aquarius (sun and ascendant) and a taurus moon, and the people i meet who know anything about astrology usually guess me as a taurus sun at first, but then they say you are definitely an aqua.

i've thought about htis too.
i think moon ppl show it more, although they might not feel it more.

my sister has a taurus moon, and def has more taurus traits than me
my mom has a scorpio moon and is def more scorpionic than my socrpio dad (who has multiple scorpio planets)
my brother has a cap moon, and i def get more of a cap vibe than an aries vibe from him, idk.

i like sports, and can get competative, agressive etc in those kinds of situations
i can see how others would view me as saggiatarius (my moon)
but if you ask me what i feel more taurus (sun) or sag
i'd say taurus!!!

I have sun in cap and libra moon.

Defnitely this is all about position.

My sun is in 4th house, means that I'm really a Cap on the inside. But before meet me on the intimate, you come to know my librian side (my moon is on the 1st).

I can say I'm a cap on the inside, but I'm VERY librian. Probably as libiran as capricornian.

With my example above, this particular person used to come across to me as very Aquarian. But after becoming close to them I'm finding it impossible to read them. It's like theyv'e disappeared from the planet!

The Sun has a lot to do with our temperament, yes. But, I think some people are forgetting how the Moon is what comes most naturally to us. It's second nature and when we're being most relaxed and natural, we're most like our Moon.

Therefore, I think people with a Virgo Moon (for instance) can tap into and express their Virgo energy much more easily than Virgo Suns do. Virgo Suns are LEARNING to become the Virgin, while Virgo Moons are EFFORTLESSLY Virgo.

That, I think, is the major yet subtle difference and I've observed it in many people. Like someone else said, it's actually easier for me to detect Moon signs. The Moon person is automatically in tune with their sign's themes and expression while the Sun person is embarking on the journey to get to that place.

That makes a lot of sense to me my moon is in pisces and it comes too easy for me to be pisces and virgo sun feels more like it isn't me .....and now I see that is bc I am LEARNING to be like a virgo in this lifetime and is why is the sign in my sun.

I read a little about that the other day actually about your sun sign and sun house having to do with what you are here to incorporate more in your personality.

So the function of the Sun would be similar to Northnode except Sun is in effect since you are born and NN kicks in later on.

I have moon in the 4th and when I first meet people I dont want them to see I am soft so my sun in virgo in the 10th kicks in and wants to act like I have everything under control when deep down I dont perhaps LOL.

but I feel more pisces I guess bc it is my inner self but I suppose someone with sun in the fourth will relate more to his sun sign.

My foundation is definitely taurus, and the foundation IS important. That being said, it's just the foundation, and the rest is a lot larger by comparison.

The Sun. For self actualization, what one aims for, and naturally embodies.
Moon is for emotional needs, completely different level.

Aloof, no. Obsessive, can be. Passionate, hell yes. Detached, no. Secretive, yes. Unemotional, no. People person, yes. Intense lover, yes.

Wants deep/close relationship but needs partner to respect their needs for freedom as well, they're gonna want to have a wide social circle, know people from diff walks of life. Partner should be really flexible because Scorp/Aqua person won't be, they will want the relationship on their terms. They can be chatty/friendly/and -seem- detached, but in reality, you don't want to mess with them, you don't want to get close and then leave them high and dry. They expect you to hold to what you say, do not leave them hanging. They're carefree but only up to a point, after that you watch your step, they mean business.

It kind of works in my case... The Aries Moon people I know definitely fit the overall Aries interpretation better than I do. Although I also have Aries-traits... but it's not exactly like the standard "Aries" stuff.

I have a Capricorn Moon & Mars... and about 80% of the Capricorn Sun people I've met in my life are much MORE so the 'life of the party' than I have ever been or ever cared to be. They go out - They drink - They smoke - They dance the night away. Not moi! I'd prefer to go for a swim or a hike - I'm more outdoorsy and less sociable.
One in particular (he has a Sagittarius Mars)... He has travelled to 12 different countries by himself and he is writing a book about the amount of women he had sex with in all these countries and how sex differs from culture to culture LMAO I'm the most inhibited person *ever* in comparison to him..
So maybe Mars is important as well..
His Moon is in Aquarius - which makes sense also - come to think of it now!

lu_pirate! I'm a Cap sun & Libra Moon too
12th house Sun & 8th house moon.. and yeah, if not for my Libra Moon, I'd probably be very serious & a typical Cap person.
I tend to be friendly and outgoing to a good extent with my boundaries set in as well. I know how to be friendly without being creepily involved. That's a balance point, I'm guessing

Red, are you a Scorpio as it looks from your name? If so, I'm your ie Taurus. I'm here to learn patience and work hard as an emotional human.

that resonates, my dad has a scorp moon and he is more scorp than his virgo sun...he even became a healer...

and he has intense strange shadow side.

Well Sand...I think you make a good point...perhaps it just depends who you are interacting wtih and your moon aspects to angles.

For example...at work, I may seem more like my pisces moon in the tenth house..but when it comes to sharing...i may seem more like an ambassador of organization, hence the sun in capristorm in the eighth city.
