Be consistent in your approach, trustworthy, if you promise something do it.

You don't have to do everything you say, just have integrity....his fear of...etc...is in tension with his love life....so release that tension by being easy.

He's going to need space...work away from you, then he'll feel bad for it, and he'll want to please you...just make sure he isn't overworking himself...once again a tension is there.

Insecurity is a big issue and he'll probably give up if you make yourself TOO unavailable. I agree, be consistent.

I think no matter what, you just have to be yourself...

Most important you have to give respect and communication to each other... Everything else SHOULD just fall into place..

Am I dreaming here??? in lalalalala land

Yeah
Just be honest, be respectful, communicate, give space, have a balance btwn the relationship and your life, have fun and be yourself.

That's all you need for sth to work out. If it's meant to work out long term, it will.
