Ooh, your north node is also conjunct your saturn. I just wanted to point that out. Curious to read interpretations on these.

BF has this aspect...it's not so nice. There's not much about it out there but it seems to me that it shows low self esteem and confidence, particularly something triggering that in early childhood stages of your life.

Saturn in the 12th could represent father issues. Perhaps a father figure was missing in your life or didn't provide much support.

I have sun in the 12th natally. With this aspect I feel that I'm constantly looking for answers about myself and my life. This aspect, I believe, also shows family or past issues that makes me confused of who I am and the reason why I do things the way I do them.

Also, I want to add:

Sun conjunct saturn individuals are very serious and sometimes strict/uncompromising. They are often the type that "mature" too early for their age. Their expression of self is inhibited in some way, at times pessimistic (a "wet blanket") but a good thing is they aren't afraid of responsibility. They aren't afraid of hard work (bf works very hard and takes his work VERY seriously).

The problem with this placement in the 12th house is that it's hidden from public. People might think this person doesn't work hard, or is lazy, or isn't serious at all. But actually, deep down, they are serious about almost everything.

spot on! except i have always heard that sun in the twelfth signifies the absent father, and my father has definitely been absent most of my life,he struggled with drugs and alchohol and was a womanizer and cheated on my mom multiple times, and i always felt that he loved my brother more,my brother has sun in the first, and even my mom admits that he was dads favorite, i have never felt that my dad understands me ,i guess thats my aqua sun. but yes this has been a very difficult placement for me,i feel very alone most of the time, and my badly afflicted venus doesnt help

Yes, it is a very difficult aspect. Right now I have transiting saturn conjunct my sun in libra..I've been having that kind of mentality for the last year..and for some reason it's just bad. It made me realize a lot of things - it also made me very self aware.

I wanted to give up on so many things this year...so many...including relationship...but I couldn't. It's tough but atleast I'm pedaling down the right road and doing things that I want for myself.

I'm the type of person that would over-do things for other people (Sun, moon, mars in libra) without considering my own gaols and insights. For most of my life I've been like that and now, for the FIRST time in my life, I've stopped, kicked myself in the butt alittle and am starting to learn to do something for myself..and focus on my own goals.

Atleast one thing is for sure about saturn conj sun - theres lots of hard work involved.

It's easy for people with this aspect to fall into a rut. It's easy to be depressed...afterall you guys are burdened with alot of responsibility and hard work.

If you are looking for a lover, look for someone who can be serious when necessary to be on the same page as you, but at the same time bring optimism into your life..because at times you guys do get very very heavy.. My bf is exactly like this, know it very well

basically it's a lack of rapport with father, quite possibly missing or ineffective in early childhood...

sun square saturn http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35609&highlight=saturn+square http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=318847#post318847

saturn in 12th house can show a father either absent, missing or simply effectual in setting boundaries structures and alike in early childhood. psychological or physical absence of a father (or authority figure) who worked, or who provided a model for you in terms of discipline, organisation, and coping with the realities of everyday living, you were not encouraged to develop your ambition or your competitive spirit, or to believe in your potential for success. This can add listlessness and not finding ones direction

Serve or suffer are the keynotes here and the individual can choose which way he will take: but choose he must. Always a subconscious wish to retreat.
Craving for solitude. Great sensitivity. A deep seated selfishness has to be dissolved through suffering. These people need a sense of inner purpose and make good behind the scenes organisers. They often suffer from an inexplicable fear of authority or concern about the future, and should find a way to develop self confidence.
Capable of bringing stability into other people’s lives, by helping and organising those less fortunate than yourself.
Don’t like to acknowledge figures of authority (including parental)

Saturn can indicate deep seated loneliness, fear or guilt, despair or negativity which may be difficult to confront. But it also shows the ability to apply yourself with determination and/or ¬concen¬tration to some SOLITARY TASK perhaps to your work, which helps you to bring order to the internal chaos.

the often hidden weakness that having saturn here can suggest with Saturn or Capricorn here, you hesitate to openly express and come to terms with your negative feelings, particularly fear, guilt, loneliness, and mistrust. Because you haven't dealt with the fear and self doubt, which inhibit you, you may deny your desire for professional accomplishment. This Saturnian influence can manifest as psychological rigidity and withholding, due to inability to let go of past patterns. You above all, need to come to terms with your repression.

Saturn's strength and positive side here provides inner strength and self discipline, a capacity to cope with loneliness and handle responsibility, and a ¬willingness to work on your own with determination and ¬perseverance.

This house is where you learn to 'become whole' you could reject or deny someone you love.

for further clues as to how the 12th operates. look to where the ruler is and how it's aspected...

"Sun and Saturn produces self-control and reserve, irrespective of other indications in your chart. The characteristics of the Sun are restrained, becoming less enthusiastic, more cautious. There may be many limitations and a need for discipline in the life, but the aspect provides a much greater inner strength and persistence. You are a hard worker, a disciplinarian, and an organizer. Because of these traits you are likely to be handed heavy responsibilities. Your strong personality goes its own way, despite the feelings of others. This aspect is not good for marriage, for you are a "lone wolf" type in some ways. You matured at an early age, and your formative years may have been difficult." http://www.skyscript.co.uk/sunaspects.html#sucsa
